House holiday rentals in Paw Paw Lake

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

We had an amazing stay to celebrate a milestone birthday with my extended family! The house comfortably fit 4 families and a labradoodle and was excellent for the 5 kiddos. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic for cooler than expected temperatures Memorial Day weekend and kept the kids entertained. We opted to cook and grill at the house and had everything we needed. The house is also super close to the beautiful New Buffalo beach. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

The location of this house is in a private quiet setting but close to so many things. The kids loved looking out the front window and seeing the horses right across the street. The house was very clean and exactly how it was described, nicely decorated without over doing it. We utilized every part of the large property for volleyball, football, cooking out and eating at the picnic table, bonfires for making smores and picking wild flowers. The pool and hot tub was very clean and nice. The bedrooms are large and perfectly accommodated our family of 10 with 2 littles in pack n plays. There were plenty of items provided to make our stay easy, dishes, cookware, pool towels, board games, and pool items. Brandon was a great host and extremely responsive before and during our stay. When we had a question about the air conditioner on our first night, he responded within 10 minutes and then sent someone out to handle it. I would highly recommend Brandon and this house for a family get away.

This place seriously has the most comfortable bed of any hotel/Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. If nothing else, that alone was worth the booking. But also, Christopher and Liz’s place is great. It’s spacious, centrally located in Watervliet close to lots to do, and has the charm of an older home while having the updates of something newer. It was a great home base while we were in town for a wedding. Christopher and Liz were SUPER responsive any time we needed something, and even had a bottle of wine waiting for us to enjoy when we arrived. One thing to note, their home is on the Main Street in Watervliet, which can sometimes be a bit of a pain to back out of the driveway, but if that’s the worst thing about this place, you’ll still have an awesome stay. Would highly recommend booking with them, and if we’re ever in town again, we will absolutely be staying here. Great stay for the price, and awesome hosts!

Pros: Sean was everything we needed and want in a host: accomodating, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Thank you for sharing your house! Sean's place was very clean and full of indoor and outdoor activities. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and backyard dock entrance into Paw Paw lake. Kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking tool that we needed for our stay. We had trouble finding nice houses like this in the area that are pet-friendly so were really glad that our furry babies were able to stay with us. Cons: Some of the blinds were missing in the upstairs bedrooms which, if you're not a light sleeper like me, shouldn't matter too much. I did feel the $1K a night was steep but inflation has hiked up everything else these days too.

This home was one of our favorite! Was very big, no one felt crowed or uncomfortable. Lots of utensils and extra pot, pans ect. Grill was one of our favorite to use in the house and the fire place in the back! Was very well decorated and had lots of extra towels, blankets, pillows for everyone in my family! Definitely recommend!!

Great place to stay! We had a group of 13 stay for the weekend here for a bachelor party and loved every bit of it! Very easy communication with Howard, well laid out instructions and nice subtle labeling on things in the household that made things easy. Another big plus is that it's located so close to a local grocery store making it quick and easy to go grab something if you happen to need anything. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever debating it!

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

Terry provides a clean home away from home for anyone staying in the area. Plenty of activities and every convenience that you need is nearby.

Michael & Angela are awesome host. Beautiful lakeside home. very clean and perfect for a traveling Family although I stayed alone. nice gameroom for warm months and a great view of Lake Michigan. all the amenities and kitchen appliances to feel right at home. 5 stars are easily worthy.

This home was perfect for us to stay for a local wedding! The house was spotless, had great amenities and was close to other activities! Mr RoPa was very responsive and even allowed an early check in so we could get ready for the wedding after a 3 hour drive! I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again! Thank you for contributing to a great weekend!

What is spectacular view!! One of the best in the southwest Michigan area ! Enjoyed the kayaks that were provided for a peaceful tour of the lake. The fire pit was excellent to enjoy a gorgeous sunset along the lake ! Don’t pass up your opportunity to stay here !!

This was rather a last minute getaway, so we were very pleased to find a place so near Lake Michigan beaches within our price range. The pictures let us know this was a place that we would feel at home in. Nick was always quick to respond to any message. He gave us recommendations for local restaurants. We did eat at the Mason Jar, one of his recommendations, and the coffee drinks and sandwiches are phenomenal. We had a wonderful time! When a thunderstorm hit one afternoon, we had a cozy, comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!

The river house is a fantastic retreat. The home was spotless, updated and had a lovely, mild scent. The views were just incredible. We enjoyed relaxing on the lower deck watching the swans. Many families on boats went by. They always had a friendly wave. It was the perfect starting point for the Heritage Trail driving tour. Thank you Susanna for sharing your lovely home.

We loved staying at Country Blue ! The location was close to family and friends whom we were visitng. And while we were there for only one night, we realized we found a very special place - exactly as described "a blend of rustic and modern amenities." The CB was very clean, communication with Marcie was very easy and the beds most comfortable. I usually bring my own pillow when I travel because I like to scrunch them up - the pillows at CB were too big for scrunching but that is really just a personal prefereance I like to note. We would give Marcie a 10+ and would definately book again when in the area.

Hilary was such a great host. She was so responsive during our stay. She had a welcome note and glasses for us when we walked in to celebrate my bachelorette! The house and yard were spacious and plenty of places to hangout and sleep!

I wanted a nice little getaway that was close enough to also check out Holland and surrounding towns, and this was a nice place to be able to reset a bit!

Stayed here with our toddlers and another family , visiting from out of state. This place is BEAUTIFUL. It looks like it should be in a magazine. The proximity and accessibility to the beach is incredible - we basically spent all of our time at the property with no need to go into town. Having a laundry, fire pit, hot tub, and grill available to use was a dream. I would say that there were more amenities here than at most places. Jeremy was great when we had questions - thank you! We would gladly come here every year as part of our annual Michigan trip. Note that if you are staying with small children: Not child friendly! White furniture, steep stairs! Luckily the photos were representative and we came with covers, etc. Thank you so much for hosting us. We look forward to maybe staying again next year!
