Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

At the Beach-Tairua Holiday Home

At the Beach is a family friendly, three-bedroom, typical kiwi bach. Not precious but a special place we love and we hope you will too. This is Tairua at its best. Just across the road from the ocean beach and right on the estuary. The Bach has an open plan living area that flows out onto a large deck. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the views west over the estuary and out to the Coromandel Hills. You're sure to enjoy your stay At the Beach all year round it’s a nice place to be.

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed.
