Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Parua Bay

A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

We loved our stay in Omaha at Robyn’s place! Easy to find, clear instructions and very responsive host. Robyn was a dream to deal with and even let us check in early which was so helpful as we were all travelling for a wedding! Amazing deck and outdoor furniture, lovely to make the most of sitting outside. Beach within walking distance. Would happily stay here again - thank you for a gorgeous stay!

Sarah was a great host. proprty is rightly match what was described. it's walkable from restaurants, 4 square, Gas stations. property was clean and tidy. we would love to stay again if will come anytime in Whangarei.

Was great for a big family, family Friendly. Loved the location and outdoor space.

We have three young children and there was so much for them to do here. Plenty of toys, games, drawing supplies, dvds, a big t.v. and a playground outside to keep them entertained. Just what we needed. I highly recommend this home if you have young children. Very relaxing place to stay! Playground just down the road.

Beautiful location! The open living plan was awesome for our whanau. Our moko enjoyed the trampoline and riding his bike down the little hill. Bathrooms were super clean and the beds were comfy with clean bedding. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus aswell. Would recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! Met our needs even more than we imagined! Teens loved the rumpus rooms and consoles provided! Bedrooms were beautiful, upstairs was an absolute sanctuary! Location is ideal and communication was perfect! Will definitely be back next time we come to mangawhai!

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

It's a warm, warm and unforgettable memory.Because it is in the first row of excellent sea view coast, sit on the balcony facing the sea entrance 180 degrees, enjoy breakfast, slip mobile phone, go through magazines, and so on. With the patience, the thoughtfulness of the host couple, it made us "at home". Thanks again to their husband and wife for such a clean, tidy and comfortable place to stay.

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

Thanks Phil & Sheena, Perfect nights stay getaway from the city, the apartment is very clean, and has great quality furnishings. Great care, time and effort is taken with the property. Felt like a hotel stay, especially loved the comfortable king bed and luxury linen. Highly recommend.

The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to stay, high recommend!! The bed is so comfortable. Location is far away from town to have peace but close enough for convenience to good restaurants, cafes, supermarket etc.

Had a lovely stay here and the views are amazing as you have the choice of making dinner on the barbecue, and enjoy the restful and peaceful surroundings and el fresco dining:-) Easy to stroll down and walk along the beach also.

Wonderful stay in Mangawhai, what a stunning spot! Perfect for a quick weekend getaway

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Linda is a very responsive and helpful host and the place is very comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of little extras made us feel right at home.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay
