Family-friendly holiday rentals in Parksville

A unique cabin on peaceful Galiano island. A short walk to a totally secluded beach, and just a 5 minute drive from an amazing coffee spot. The hot tub is ideal for star gazing after a day of hiking! Super large and comfy bed, too. Henny was very kind and helpful during our stay!

Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

We enjoyed a quite few days on the point. The property is beautiful with lots of options for accessing the water. We enjoyed staring at the strait from the hottub and looking for otters as well as plenty of other sea life post hiking nearby. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The loft is cozy and well equipped. We will come back!

We had a lovely last minute get away to Om Sweet Om. Really comfy bed with hotel style linens, fab hot tub and secluded space. Fan was really great addition as warm when we stayed. Sharon was welcoming over messages and lots of helpful tips for hikes and restaurants in the area!

Katy and Dave were incredible hosts - they made sure the hot tub was warm for us each day and were responsive to whatever we needed. The place itself is GORGEOUS - we didn’t leave once and were entertained the entire time, even in the rain. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back at some point! Can’t recommend enough.

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

This was a magical experience. Hot tub by the water surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Cozy and rejuvenating!

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

It was such a lovely stay at Keitha’s cabin. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close enough by the ocean. The cabin was charming with all the amenities you need for a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is on her gorgeous property with access to a fire pit and yard space. We had a lovely stay here and would love return! Keitha was very responsive and kind and has two beautiful dogs who sometimes greeted us with wagging tails by the fence. It was wonderful! An incredible stay. So peaceful and private, nestled within the tranquil fields of the farm. Just the right distance from town and nearby trails. The space was spotless and beautifully designed, and the sauna was a fantastic bonus.

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

We had a lovely stay at Julie and Ians place. Waking up to the alpacas in front of our patio was so delightful and our son loved visiting the chickens, horses and playing with Isla, the dog. We left the French doors open when we were home and enjoyed playing on the grassy patch in front of our patio. Coombs market is just a couple minutes drive away and the kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. It is such a peaceful spot surrounded by nature to enjoy breakfast and dinner. Everything was just easy, June is an excellent host and was helpful right from the start, communication was great also. If I could give more than 5⭐️ I would. The suite was spotless and very well equipped, we had everything we needed including a nice bag of coffee. We stayed with our 2 Boxers, June made us feel very welcomed. We had a wonderful stay at Eva’s place. Such a peaceful and thoughtfully designed space. The neighborhood is very walkable and quiet. We hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

Our party included 4 adults and two children. We stayed in the house for four nights. This is something which we do every summer, staying in different houses near Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We were happy with our rental this year (2024). We liked the fact that this complex includes a swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. (We used the beach folding chairs which are available in the unit.) We also walked in the adjacent Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We also drove to some stores in town. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the BBQ for three of the dinners. It was useful that one of the bedrooms includes a desk. Sandy communicated with us (via the AirBnB app) several times. We had a great vacation. I should also mention that after we checked out we discovered that my granddaughter left a certain item behind. Sandy assured me that it will be mailed to us. Thank you!

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Starfish Cottage. The house itself was so clean and inviting, as soon as we entered we felt comfortable and at home. The location is great, we took full advantage of the swimming pool and mini golf. We went to the Black Goose Inn (charming English-like pub) twice while we were there as it was just down the road. Super easy drive into Parksville which had everything we could possibly need. My daughter had her 4th birthday here, and really enjoyed herself. We all talked about how much we want to come back again, and we certainly intend to!

Beautiful property. walking the beach, swimming at the pool, we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation were wonderful. (as described, spacious.) Hope to go again. Thank you Pat for the games and Beautiful kitchen, bedrooms ect.

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Donald was a very good host to work with. We were happy with the condo, it was spacious and had what we needed to enjoy a great time. So nice to have the pack and play for our baby. The upper and lower floors were so nice to give privacy when traveling with multi family. The grounds were beautiful and the heated pool and hot tub were really nice. A short walk to access Rathtrevor Beach, which is awesome We would book again next time we come!

Loved staying in this beautiful area. The pool and hot tub right next to the ocean were the cherry on top. Tammy’s place was very clean. Felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve been to. Her instructions were crystal clear and we had zero issues accessing the condo and the amenities. Our only feedback; we were missing our creamer in the morning for our coffee. There’s a chance it was there but we didn’t find it! Other than that, we loved it and highly recommend!
