Monthly Rentals in Papaikou

We are returning guests and love the property so much. The little home was so cute and quite comfortable for a family of three. The surroundings were amazing which is what made us want to return. It is simply a gorgeous property with acres of land surrounding you and an uninstructed view from the front lanai down the hill and to the sea. Animals like horses, cows, and dogs are very friendly and interact with you. A private waterfall and small swimming hole is a short hike away. The owners live above the rental unit, but they are so quiet that you hardly know they are there. And while we were initially bummed to find out that the lovely pool was no longer available to guests, it honestly didn’t matter much because the whole experience of staying there is so peaceful and rejuvenating. We will return once again down the road. :)

We booked this place after our previous plan fell through. I'm so glad we did! It was beautiful and perfect for our short stay in the Hilo area. Guy and Trey made us feel welcomed and gave us some tips on visiting the local spots!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Betty’s house located in a peaceful neighborhood with an old Hawaii country feel. A perfect location & close to Hilo town. The house was clean & well stocked with everything we needed from coffee to laundry soap. The beds were comfy & the many ceiling fans cooled the rooms. The second shower & toilet under the house was a little quirky, but with 4 adults, much appreciated & even private. The short hike to the beach at the end of the road was an adventure you don’t want to miss. I would definitely stay here again!

Sharon and Mark were so sweet! We got a little tour and lots of great conversation with them! It was cozy and a beautiful location.
