Part of what makes this Airbnb wonderful is Sony, the host. Here’s an example: I was supposed to arrive for check-in at 7PM but my plans unexpectedly delayed, causing me to arrive around midnight. Despite all this, Sony met me for check-in and took the time to explain everything about the place in detail. Another example: Sony knows a lot about Munnar/things to do and the best way to do them in the area. He helped set me up with a tailored plan of what to do for the days I was in Munnar. Now about the actual place. It’s very clean, instant hot water, and quite comfortable. It’s admittedly kind of small, but for someone who is basically just using the room to sleep since I was going to be out all day, it’s perfect. It’s worth exactly what I paid for it, if not more. Also, Sony and his family on-site provide complimentary breakfast every morning (it’s wonderful, homemade food). This is a huge plus of staying in this Airbnb. Overall I would strongly recommend staying in Sony’s Airbnb

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel a drive out of Munnar if you want a break from sightseeing and bustle and want to chill. The views are beyond belief, the staff are really lovely, all trying so hard and with a smile. Food is good with an extensive menu for all tastes. There is no alcohol available but a liquor store is just steps away. Our beers were perfectly chilled for us by the team at no extra cost and we could drink them in certain parts of the hotel no problem. The rooms feel spacious and luxurious. There are also lovely sitting areas to relax in and a fabulous terrace with vistas to die for! The boys lit a wonderful bonfire on one of our nights and earlier that evening we walked to a nearby Cultural Centre for a thrilling Kathakali dance performance. It was so cool! Thank you for hosting us. We had an enjoyable and peaceful stay and would recommend you!

this place is a piece of heaven. run by Shiraz and his mum. both wonderful people. who made sure all our needs are met. they took us on a tour of their wonderful farm. gave us wonderful food. bonfire was set up too . the room is clean and fantastic. we had such a wonderful time there that we extended by a day. wonderful place to just lay back n destress. all toiletries provided. shiraz suggested a lot of places to visit

Had a wonderful 2-day stay at this lovely Airbnb in Munnar. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, we were greeted with fresh bananas and juice on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The interiors are well-maintained and cozy, the breakfast was delicious, and the parking facilities were convenient. The location is peaceful and scenic, adding to the overall charm. Extremely satisfied with our experience, highly recommend!

Everyone is so lovely here! The views are amazing and the whole place is just really peaceful and nice.

Be warned, this place is remote!! And beautiful, and quiet. And we loved it. You definitely need a guide to show you around unless you are brave enough to hire a scooter or car. Joshy was so helpful in driving us to see the beautiful tea plantations, spice plantations, even a trip to the elephants!! We climbed a mountain for sunrise which was epic and very challenging! It really was an adventure and Joshy made it work, so grateful for his time and reasonable coats. His wife also cooks the most delicious meals, as there’s not a lot around food wise. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks Joshy x

It was a great memorable stay at Anandu's place Kunchithanny, Munnar. Myself, wife and daughter stayed for 02 nights over there. Very neat and clean, calm and quiet arrangement. Location was very nice, calm and quiet, free from noise and heavy crowd. The host Anandu and his family are superb, helpful, friendly and cordial. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary there. Anandu made all nice arrangements and her mother prepared very nice and delicious dinner perfectly of Keralian touch. We three felt it was our home away from home. Extreme thanks and gratitude to Anandu and his entire family. Love to visit and stay again. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Disha Plantations in Bison Valley from 10th to 15th June 2025. It was a lovely experience. The remote location and the resulting serenity was ideal for me. Vandana and Ashin were very hospitable. Special mention for the excellent food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
