A cozy little log cabin built in the 1930's, 450 sq ft. located in a quaint riverside neighborhood along the Bon Secour River. A private park provides a great place to fish, launch your kayak or just sit and relax. You never know what you might see sitting along the river's edge. Dolphins, turtles, pelicans & herons just to mention a few. Conveniently located, 7 miles to the Gulf beaches , 4 1/2 miles to Tanger Outlet, 7 miles to The Wharf and only 24 miles to the beautiful town of Fairhope.

Our Bay-front Cottage was built in the mid 1930s as part of a small fishing village. It is well appointed, quiet,rustic and relaxing, a welcomed days end retreat from the hustle and bustle of vacationing in the Gulf Shores area. Great place for couples. We now have an outdoor solar shower. Great in summer, helps to make up for the small shower. People were smaller back then. Coming soon... the bike trail connecting to Gulf Shores and the National Park will be done soon. Rated #1 bike trails.

Turquoise Cottage on the Bon Secour River!

The cottage is about 10 miles from the beach. Waterville, The track, golfing,restaurants, etc are between the cottage and the beach. The cottage is very convenient to lots of attractions like OWA Amusement Park, Tangerine Outlets, The Factory Trampoline park, Gulf Shores Sports Complex, etc Orange Beach is about 15 miles from the cottage. Rinse off in the outdoor shower & enjoy the heated pool. FYI: pool heating costs extra: $50 per day (for 8 hours of heating - you pick the hours). You're welcome to use the Green Egg grill.
