Family-friendly holiday rentals in Overland Park

Having my dogs welcomed with a nice fenced yard. This made it easy to feel at home rather than hotel back and forth to bathroom. Had no issues sleeping. Neighborhood wasn’t noisy. Comfortable place to stay. Had everything in the house we needed.

Lance was a great host. I was in town for work and it was nice to be in close proximity to the Plaza. We had everything we needed. Lance was great at communicating. Would stay again.

We had 2 families staying at the home for a softball tournament our daughters were playing in. The number of bedrooms worked out perfectly for our group. This is an older home and the upstairs floor do creak as older homes do, but we didn't mind. The home is charming and we LOVED sitting out on the screened in porch in the mornings for coffee or the adults drinking wine in the evenings. The only negative I have is we bought steaks to cook one night and the grill was out of propane and the grill hadn't been cleaned in some time. Lance responded quickly and ended up bringing a new grill the next day, but we had other plans for dinner that day. Overall, the home worked out for us with restaurants and shopping close by and easy to get anywhere...our event was actually in Overland Park, but we didn't mind the drive (about 25 minutes). Thank you Lance for letting us stay at your beautiful home, will definitely stay again when in Kansas City!

Super cute and quirky old brick home with a great vibe. It’s located in a nice neighborhood and very close to the most awesome art museum. There is tons to do, eat and drink close by. It fit our needs perfectly. The hosts were super friendly, responsive, and helpful.

We loved our stay at Abbeys! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend and we loved being able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. Great walkable dining and trails and very close to Whole Foods. Our dog was able to use a fully fenced backyard and we were so happy to have peace of mind with him in the home. Would love to stay again!

Very easy walking distance to KU Medical center and lots of food & drink options easily accessible.

We absolutely loved this house! Great location, close to everything and in such a cute neighborhood. Adam was amazing to work with and incredibly responsive! If we’re ever back in KC we would definitely stay here again!

Every single bit of this stay was so easy and comfortable! Our hosts provided proactive communication and quick responses. The place is perfect for hanging out in the backyard (LOVE the private parking), and it is close to some of the best food I've ever eaten. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay here! It is located in an area where you can easily walk to shops and restaurants, yet retreat at night to a quiet, fenced-in yard. Everything was spotless, instructions were clear, and the house was well stocked with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Larry and Babbie are amazing hostess extremely responsive. The house is beautiful as well. all the amenities were as discribed and then some. I would defentely go back if given the oppurtunity. Very secure private, safe area. Thanks again Larry and Babbie!!

Great place that's pet friendly. The apartment was as described with everything we needed. There are neighbors but we never heard a peep from them; very quiet and respectful. Some of the neighbors do seem to be lacking adequate storage as their belongings are being stored outside causing some clutter around the building, but it was no problem and everyone was extremely friendly. We had a great stay with an easy check-in and enjoyed being left alone to relax and visit with friends & family. We hope to be back to Kansas City again soon, and will be looking forward to booking with this host again!!

Place was just as described, Kc was very helpful and was responsive with any of our request. It was a nice walk to the ballpark which is just around the corner. We will book again if in the area

This is a great location for family trips. It is very spacious, invitating, and comfortable for large groups. I saw all the pictures and still was surprised at how huge this house is. I also left a few items at the house and Danya offered to mail them to me. This was overall a great experience, and Danya is an amazing host.

Lovely cottage on a secluded property that's minutes away from restaurants and shopping. One good thing to know is that the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedroom is up a flight of stairs (I'm 8 months pregnant, if you know you know). The host Kelly was very communicative and friendly.

I enjoyed the stay. The host had good communications, and was flexible. The kitchen accessories were very practical. The decoration show tastes with some East Asian arts. The area is well suit for tourist, near Plaza Area etc. Recommended !

The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, and communication with the host was smooth and responsive. The location was great for what we needed, and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again.

Me and my crew were in town for only one night for work and the house was great. Anne had just had someone check out that day and made effort to have the house cleaned quick for us to go in, even though she was busy! Would definitely recommend!

Lee’s place is incredibly fabulous. Located in a historical site at Leavenworth county make us feel like we’re in our own place. Thank you for the hospitality for more than 2 weeks. God bless you always.

This property worked very well for our family. We had 11 people stay here and we had plenty of room. We had a great time with the fire pit and the kids really enjoyed the yard games. We were able to use Marietta’s grill to have a nice cook out. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics together as a family in living room TV area. We really appreciated the breakfast foods provided for us which included bagels, English muffins, cinnamon bread and all kinds of fruit. Very nice! Great family experience and memories!

Great value - you get the whole two story house for the price of much smaller places. Super cute and cozy decor. Short drive or walk to shops and restaurants. Loved it.
