Stained Glass Cottage, Bakewell. Private parking

KarenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely long weekend at Stained Glass Cottage. The photos really don't do justice to the cottage which was lovely and comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed and the treats of wine, chocolates and biscuits, were a lovely addition - thank you Jan! The cottage was ideally situated and literally a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the river. It was also perfectly located for the fly fishing that my husband was keen to do and right next door to a fisherman's favourite shop - Mallon & Green! We hope to return sometime soon!

Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

EdwardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Rocking Stone Cottage near Bakewell. The location was ideal and just a short drive to places like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and right on the doorstep of the Peak District countryside. The cottage itself was beautifully kept, warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms and generous en-suites. It felt like a real home away from home. Rachael and Gerry were fantastic hosts. Rachael sent through lots of helpful information ahead of our visit, and every one of her recommendations hit the mark. One of the best things about Rocking Stone Cottage was how quickly we could get out into nature. Within minutes of leaving the front door, we were walking through open fields with sheep and cows, and could stroll from one village to the next across the peaks. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the cottage and the hosts - truly a special spot.

Barn Cottage - Bakewell ….with EV charging station

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay in Bakewell. John and Moira were wonderful, so very friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome. The cottage was perfect with the gas fire, only minutes away from the town centre on foot. There was plenty to do with Hadden Hall just a few minutes away. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Old Cottage in the Peak District

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a really great stay at Tweedeldum. A lovely comfortable cottage, spotlessly clean throughout. Our hosts Catherine and Gary supplied us with lots of information and tips. Used the maps in the cottage to go on some beautiful local walks. Didn’t need the car at all so came home rested. Highly recommended cottage and hosts.
