This was a fabulous airbnb! The space was perfect - clean, comfortable, and had character. The kitchen was well stocked with tools for cooking. Erika was a lovely host. I would love to book here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Julie & Paul are incredible hosts! They were so kind, welcoming & very flexible. We had a lovely chat with them. The stay was absolutely perfect ! The place had everything we needed and was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The garden was stunning—such a peaceful spot to relax in. Highly recommend and would love to return! What a great place. Very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were extremely comfy and we all slept really well. The big showers are another great feature. The huge bi-fold doors were fantastic and we sat enjoying a quiet evening with them wide open, enjoying a drink whilst watching the sheep !!! A very relaxing weekend that we needed, to recharge our batteries during the stress of moving house. We would definitely return if or when we're in the area again. Thanks for a great place to stay.

The Byre was the perfect, peaceful getaway to rest and recharge. The decor was beautiful and the welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch. There was everything we needed to feel right at home, including an adjustable fence to make the garden secure for our two dogs, who also loved their stay. Great pub and cafe within walking distance, and scenic walks from the doorstep. We had a trip out to Penrith, Long Meg and a lovely walk in the grounds of Melmerby Hall.
