Hiking and skiing trails are accessible directly around the corner from the house. To Åre it is about 25 minutes, Vålådalen about 30 minutes. In Ottsjö village there is ICA Bua, dog sledding, brewery, etc.

The cabin by Storån

A warm welcome to this unique and peaceful accommodation right by Storån. A wonderful place for the nature lover. There is a private jetty for those who love swimming. There is also a fireplace by the river where you can barbecue and enjoy the view. The accommodation consists of a small log cabin which, despite its size, has most amenities. If you're lucky, you can see the otter catching fish while you're having breakfast. Storån is a popular place for fly fishing. A five-minute walk from the cottage, you have a large, nice sandy beach at Ottsjön.

Brattland bike/ski lodge is beautifully located above the E14, about 8 km from Åre village. Car parking is available at the houses. By car, it takes ten minutes to the village. There are also many skiing and hiking trails. Everything is within walking distance of the cabin. If you want even more adventure, Åre is 20 minutes away by car.
