Beachfront holiday rental in Otter Tail Lake

We traveled to Dent for a sibling and spouse reunion. There were 15 adults and 1 child. There was more than enough room for our group. One bedroom went unused. There was lots of seating inside and out. No need to bring lawn chairs. We ate every meal at the house. It had all the kitchen gear needed to cook, bake and grill. We rented their pontoon and used it frequently for leisurely rides around Silent Lake and for fishing. It was mid-September, so we were often the only boat on the lake. There we several float items in the garage which we didn't use but were available to us. We grocery shopped at the Perham Central Market 22 min from the home. We reached out to the host once during our stay with a question and they responded quickly. Family was all in agreement that we would go back. Great central location for my family that came from Montana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nebraska. There are more good things I would say but feedback space is limited. I would recommend this home.

Everything was perfect. We had a great time. Will be back next year.

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

Great overall. Only complaint was an underground bees nest that stung one of us and the dog. Texted manager & she didn’t offer to come spray. We had to go to hardware store and buy spray ourselves. Also gas tank for grills ran out. Manager hesitantly offered to get some but said we could about 10 miles down the road. Paid out of pocket for these things.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Place was great and had everything we needed! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you for letting us into your home! One thing I noticed is the discrepancy on the check in time. When I booked the reservation it said 3pm however I believe the actual time was 4pm. Denise was very communicative regarding this and we worked out the details.

We had a great weekend away and really appreciated the ramp accessibility for my dad, who uses a 4 wheel walker. Great hospitality and beautiful lake!

We had an amazing getaway. This location was perfect for the two of us and our dogs! We can’t wait to book in the summer and fall to see the foliage on the property. After day trips to 2 state parks with our dogs, our favorite amenity was coming home and building a cozy fire in the wood stove. 10 out of 10 experience!

We loved our stay last weekend! Our whole family fit very comfortably in the 5 bdrm villa. We had a blast at the rec center, the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our meals. The owners/staff were very kind and let us check in early/check out late!! Wonderful place, we are talking about coming every year!!

Great lake. Water is as clear as the photos show. The beach area was great for the kids. Very private feel to the place. Excellent outdoor seating- a great place to gather. Beds were comfortable. Adequate supplies provided. Emily had excellent communication throughout the entire process. We had a great vacation!

This was a great location and airbnb for a family weekend for 12 guests (adults and children). The lake and all the lake toys (kayaks, swimming area, sandbox, lily pad, fishing off the dock) were perfect for a fun summer weekend. We appreciated that the bedrooms were off the main area so younger children could sleep through later evening game nights. The kitchen was clean and large enough for all of us. Three full bathrooms were also helpful for 12 people. Very minor issues: The beds and couch were way too soft and all could use an update. More lighting is needed in both the dining and living room.

Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

The place was beautiful, it felt open and cozy at the same time. We really appreciated how family friendly the place is, our little one loved playing with the toys. Although Detroit Lakes is a popular summer destination, we had an awesome time this winter - the ski resort is great and there’s also cross country ski trails and snowshoeing.

Nice updated clean cabin with everything you need. Great sandy beach for the kids with slides, paddle boats, lily pad, kayak and more.

This home totally fulfilled our wishes for our girls’ weekend! We could not have asked for a nicer place in a beautiful winter setting and so close to Detroit Lakes and Mountain. Like the rest of the reviews state, it looked just like the pictures. It slept all of us very comfortably with great beds and bedding. The kitchen was amazing and supplied very well with utensils, dishes, silverware and small appliances. Beautiful dining/sunroom and open concept plan for our games and conversations. There were plenty of cleaning supplies and towels throughout the house. The host was very prompt in responses. Overall, wonderful accommodation and we would certainly rent again!

Holly is an excellent host. She is easy to work with and she is responsive. Her place is clean. It has great location between all of the lakes.

This place is amazing! So awesome to have en suite bathrooms for every room! Clean and spacious! The view is second to none as you are steps from the water/beach! Cordell was very communicative prior to us arriving. When there was a vary small issue Cordell rectified it immediately and communicated with me at all points! Book it now!
