The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

Located directly on beautiful Dixon Lake and close to downtown Gaylord. Dixon lake is clean, spring fed and tranquil in addition to being an All-Sports lake. Super close to premier golf courses, ski resorts, snow mobile trails, restaurants and other attractions. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is fully furnished. Perfect location for events at Sojourn Resort! ***As of 5/2025 - Renovated floors/showers/deck/lock. Seawall and outdoor space to be renovated soon - delay due to ice storm in April.

The main bedroom has a king bed; the second bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds. The open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area is bathed in natural light thanks to large windows. There is a fully stocked kitchen. The living room has a 58" Smart TV, HDMI hookup, DVD player, and WiFi. This getaway is the perfect home base for your northern Michigan retreat.
