The caretaker is very caring and accommodating. It was a great stay!

The place itself is very beautiful. The room very large considering we were only 5 since it was the only available at the time. Wished we booked a poolside room for the view since our view was the opposite to the pools but it was still close and very near to the restaurant and reception area. There were many big mosquitos so be prepared but they had nets to hang over your bed. All in all, we enjoyed our stay immensely! Will definitely come back again and recommend to others.

We really loved this place!!sleeping with earing the river and jungle sounds were amazing! our son loved the swiming pools!the staff were very kind and helpful!this place is zenfull at night time as we were the only customers to stay there.the garden is also beautyfull. Salamat po!!

Great place, nice modern unit that is well provided for travelers…. Good large fridge and an abundance of towels. Pool to use and eayt access to road to Valencia and Dumaguete. Have been to Dumaguete previously and can happily recommend Bigler. Also , great bird song in the mornings if you listen.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sun Xi Mountain Resort! The description is accurate - you're really on top of the hills, overlooking green paddy fields, and really just surrounded by nature! The place is so serene and peaceful, and definitely for those who want to seek a getaway from the hustle and bustle of cities/towns. Although there is no signal there, my friends and I enjoyed the break from technology and just immersing ourselves in the environment there. Admittedly, there isn't much to do there, mainly trekking and walking around the hills, but you can take their shuttle van down to the town (about 20 mins ride) and engage in canyoneering tours etc. In the resort there is a dining area where you can order food from the menu and the friendly staff will whip up delicious food for you. All in all, we had a very lovely time here and we hope other visitors will too! :)

We came here with special purpose to do, the host supported us really with a warm heart! Many thanks to her! this small house is in front of the gate, separately from the main house. very private, secured.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

We booked Rose&Kerry's Place for a few nights with thw whole family and loved it there. The place is very well kept and clean with western standard. They are very forthcoming and helpful with everything and we felt at home from the moment we checked in. The two dogs Denver and Calli are well behaved and playful at times. Beeing a Superhost myself I can clearly recommend this place if you are in the area. Definitely worthy the money. 5/5

Great stay. We were a group of 16. Ended up getting 6 different rooms. Nina was able to set up an early check in which was very helpful for our group to get all set up with Kawasan Falls and canyoneering tours. Very accommodating. Thank you Nina for all your help…

All in all the hotel was great. There was a nice little place to eat outside and they have great mango shakes and great banana shakes that are very healthy. It has nothing to do with the hotel, but the island itself has several brownouts during our stay meaning there’s no electricity…

We recently stayed at Puy-an a Nomad Hostel and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The only hiccup we encountered was finding the place, as the pin on the map didn’t specifically mention "Puy-an a Nomad Hostel." However, once we called, the staff was incredibly communicative and guided us right to the location. The room itself was amazing—very spacious and perfect for our group. The hostel is situated in a great spot, just a short walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants, making it super convenient. We were also pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the shared toilets and baths were, which made our stay even more comfortable. If you’re traveling with a big group and looking for a good value for money, I highly recommend this place. We definitely enjoyed our time and would love to come back!
