Swimming facilities can be found at the common jetty, only about 350 meters from the cabin, and there is a short distance to several beautiful beaches such as Storesand and Husebystranda, which you can easily reach via the coastal path (about 3 km) from the cabin. A convenience store is also within walking distance via the same path.

The city center of Fredrikstad and the college, is only 20 minutes away by foot. 5 minutes to the free ferry that takes you to the old town or city center. Short distance to the city centre, 3 cafes in the immediate vicinity, grocery store on Kråkerøy or in the city centre. Peaceful and nice area. Little traffic. Public parking in the street in marked places, for a fee from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays, until 3 pm on Saturdays and free on public holidays.
