Wow! Frank's place is absolutely beautiful. I could not have asked for a better place to spend our 35th wedding anniversary. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was THOROUGHLY stocked. Very good cookware and the knives were sharp! I usually do not sleep well in a different bed but my back did not hurt at all. I must say the chair in the corner in the living room is without a doubt the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. Spent the rainy day hanging out in that chair. Frank and Amy were very responsive and offered great suggestions on things to do. Amy greeted us upon arrival. She lives in the house next door. Beautiful gardens. Very quiet, peaceful and remote setting. Bangor was about a 30-minute drive. Acadia an hour drive. This house is definitely one of the top Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. I would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful peace of paradise again. Wish we lived closer.

Absolutely loved it! The host were so personable. Made sure we were comfortable our whole stay, and even let us extend our vacation. We loved how we were in the middle of every tourist attraction. The place is beautiful decorated, cottage like, and overall a great place to stay! I’d recommend it to anyone.

We would highly recommend staying at Jean-Yves and Carol's place! The location was perfect to be a home-base for exploring, with day trips to Bangor, Rockland, Acadia, Bar Harbor, and more! The space was incredibly charming, with a very comfy bed. We're so thankful that it was dog friendly so that our pups could enjoy beautiful Maine with us! The only caution we'd have for someone considering this is that there are spiral staircases to both get inside and to get up to the bedroom - if that's not a concern for you, book it!

The home is perfect for a family looking for an affordable, clean and comfortable place to stay. The location is great and the view is beautiful and peaceful. I’ve already recommended this Airbnb to a friend!
