Everything was perfect! The host was very friendly and proactive and we enjoyed some really relaxing days there. The house was super modern, the beds were comfy and you literally have no neighbours around you! Definitely recommend and would come back.

We had a great stay, wonderful lake view, very quiet, places to walk or just hang out. The main city is 20 minutes drive from the cabin but not a big deal. The only things it would be “nice to have” would be add a door locker to bathroom and wifi connection. Other than that….perfect place!

We were at Helene's house for Christmas. We felt welcome right from the start. The house was warm and lit, so we could immediately admire the beautiful ambience. Helene has lovingly furnished and decorated everything. We also liked her self-painted pictures. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a cozy stay. The big highlight is the hot tub with panoramic views. The surroundings are very quiet and nice for walking. THANK YOU for this relaxed and restful stay!

The Most Magical Stay–A True Paradise in Norway. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.Our stay in this cabin in Norway was beyond perfect–it was everything we dreamed of, and more.From the moment we arrived, we were in awe.The cabin itself is the most beautiful we’ve ever seen – designed with heart, taste, and incredible attention to detail. Every room was warm, inviting, and impeccably clean. The beds Absolute heaven–so cozy and comfortable, we slept better than we ever have.The view-breathtaking.Imagine waking up to Norwegian nature all around you – mountains, trees, the calming silence. It was truly a fairytale setting. The kitchen was fantastically equipped. Incredible entertainment options-A hot tub under the stars, a basketball hoop,board games, a proper firepit for a cozy bonfire or bbq-the perfect blend of nature and relaxation.Whether we wanted to unwind or have fun, this place had it all.Peaceful, luxurious, an experience we'll never forget!

We stayed for 10 nights with 2 small children and our dog. What a hidden gem! Such beautiful surroundings and plenty of toys for the kids. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay even longer.

A double booking had happened, so we got a price reduction and alternative accommodation. It was resolved smoothly and well for us, with good information. Very nice, flexible and helpful host, busy making things easy for us. I will gladly return, and I would recommend this host to others😊

Nice cabin with a beautiful area. Quite private if the cabins around are not frequented. Bring proper boots. It can get very wet from the car to the cabin :)

Had a very nice stay at this cabin. Plenty of space and a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view and we were lucky to see a beautiful sunset. The coffee machine was ready when we arrived, opportunity to read a book and play games. The host has been clear and easy to relate to. Would definitely recommend staying here. We'd like to come back another time. Thank you for us.

Seemed a little smaller than in the photos, but great location (at the end of the dirt road, quiet, beautiful, close to hiking area,…) and pleasantly decorated (though little light)….

Great location, great house (much better than shown in the photo). Too bad that no bedding and Wi-Fi is offered - but it is also clearly stated in the listing, still awkward when traveling by plane. Clear recommendation for this place, it's great!!!

We had a wonderful time with lots of snow at Metalhytte! With a fire going and a magical snowscpae outside it was incredibly cozy. Egil was very helpful with every question and communication was easy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to just spend some time away from everything else. I imiagine it's beautiful in the summer as well :)

Amazing views and calm area. Nice hiking opportunities and proximity to the sea.

Quiet, peaceful & secluded place to lower your heart rate. Cozy decorated, warm sofa nook in front of the fireplace, and otherwise equipped with what we needed for a cozy weekend. We had bad weather, so we chose not to explore the hiking opportunities very much.

Amazing cottage, view and area. Four adults and three dogs had a great time. Recommended!

Very nice, small cottage overlooking lovely sunset that you can see on the large flat in the front. Lots of nice hiking trails around, both to lookout points and beaches. Convenient parking right by the entrance And very nice hosts; we came to nice, clean and tidy house with fire in the fireplace. Very very nice place to have a little Easter holiday. 😊

Delightful views. Large and spacious despite looking little outside. Clean and tidy. Old fashioned but still new and fresh.
