Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Winter: Ski resorts in the mountains 1 hour away with car. Pets: only dogs are allowed due to allergy in host family.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

You will feel your shoulders drop when you enter the door and see the amazing view of the fjord from the large living room windows. An uplifting living room with kitchen and high ceilings. The house has everything you need to cook or to enjoy yourself inside. You can take both short and long trips in the surrounding district.

This is a quiet residence in a peaceful area. Short distance to swimming area (100 m) and outdoor areas with frisbee golf course (800 m) and many hiking opportunities. Walking distance to Kongeparken, Ålgård city center and Norwegian Outlet. The apartment consists of a bedroom with double bed and double sofa bed in the living room, in addition to a private bathroom. Kitchenette consists of fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and kitchen utensils.

Our house is located in a beautiful, quiet location and with views of the fjord and mountains only about 20 minutes (by car) from Preikestolen, probably the most famous excursion destination with us. The Kjerag is also easily accessible from here. Pets are welcome. We warmly welcome a maximum of 6 guests. You will stay in the lower, fully furnished apartment. In summer, sun from 10 am to sunset. We are a registered fishery, so fish export is possible
