Bad Peterstal-Griesbach is een prachtig wandelgebied met vele routes, waaronder de 3 gecertificeerde wandelroutes: Wiesensteig, Schwarzwaldsteig en de nieuwste: Himmelssteig. Allen zijn ongeveer 11 kilometer lang. De Schwarzwaldsteig loopt vlak langs ons huis. In het dorp en in de omgeving zijn er diverse restaurantjes te vinden, er is een zwembad en een midget-golf (gratis met de Konus-Gästekarte). Gedurende het hele jaar zijn er veel gezellige dorpsfeesten, van aardbeien- tot wijnfeesten.

Children's equipment is available on request. The parking lot is right outside the front door. Grocery, bakery, butcher, pharmacy and the train station is only within walking distance of about 5-10 minutes. Likewise, there is a playground for children and the outdoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity.

Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely accommodated.
