Had a great stay at Olga's place, views and garden are spectacular and the house as listed so perfect for either a short or long stay. Olga was great at communicating. Steps down to the property are steep but doable with care. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great whilst we were there but under cover outside seating area and table helped with this. Would recommend 👍

Quiet comfortable place with slightly quirky decor and great view from the balcony. Two comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped, but small and with a low ceiling. Communication with host was good and check in easy. In general all good.

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal vantage point to explore the valley with its beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

A real favourite for this house perched on the heights with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore, all in a peaceful and privileged setting. We were delighted with our stay, everything is there: comfort, space, view, amenities, everything you need is there. We didn't see our host but we could easily communicate with him. We will be happy to return to this little haven of peace.

We are delighted with our stay in Prémeno which is a very nice village. The accommodation was consistent with the photos and we were able to enjoy the balcony. We sympathised with Donatella, she is an available and very warm person that we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this cottage

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at this place and felt comfortable from the first moment. Serge proved to be an outstanding host, not only extremely friendly and likeable, but also extraordinarily helpful and always committed to our well-being. Right after our arrival, Serge took the time for a detailed house tour and gave us valuable insider tips for the area. His recommendations for restaurants where to dine well, as well as for interesting activities and worth seeing excursions were helpful. The view from the property was breathtaking. A special highlight was the hot tub, which was just the place to relax after an eventful day. We are sure this was not our last visit with Serge and in his fantastic accommodation. We can fully recommend this place and Serge as a host!

We had a fabulous time at Elena's place! As many others have said, the house is enormous and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. We weren't familiar with this area before our visit, but we quickly fell in love with it. Elena gave us such a warm welcome and took wonderful care of us and our dogs. We definitely hope to visit again in the near future.

The apartment in the beautiful stone house of Giulia and Gianluca is a combination of tradition and comfort. You will find here everything you need to enjoy the full relaxation of your holiday. Evenings by the fireplace are a time to remember the day and have a glass of wine. We spent a wonderful Easter there and discovered new beautiful places around Domodossola. Masera is one of them. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

Kathrin and Thomas were very flexible and accommodating at check-in. The house is very easy to find. The apartment corresponded exactly to the description. It is very clean and spacious. In addition, it has enough storage space to store the things you bring with you. We noticed the many small extras such as mobile phone charging cable, very well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, bathroom with everything you need, fresh herbs for self-service in the garden, salad on request, etc. In the hot weather, they also shaded the seating area. This service is simply great. Kathrin or Thomas were always available and gave great information. Thank you both for the great week. You are excellent and extremely likeable hosts. We look forward to another time.

The apartment is located in Aldesago, very close to the Lugano city and with breathtaking view on the lake - the area is really well commuted (bus no. 12 or funicular). Inside you have everything you need - nicely equipped kitchen, superclean bathroom and very comfortable beds! The view from terrace is truly stunning! It was also so nice to be able using swimming pool belonging to the facility! Although we’ve been already in Lugano few times before, I think, this staying was the best one ;) P.S. the owners are angels 😇

We felt very comfortable. In good weather, the view was fantastic and the garden was super beautiful. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite the bad weather, we had a nice holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

I agree with the very good comments already made. The magnificent view combined with the cozy side of the apartment. Lots of beautiful things in the area. Car necessary in my opinion, otherwise a little less than 1 kilometre of coast. I loved it

Unfortunately, we were only there for one day, but it was still worth it! The location is very good near the train station and the lake and from the great terrace you can see Lake Maggiore while relaxing in the hot tub. Ideal for relaxing!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy. Large outdoor space. Highly recommended.

We felt very comfortable in Matina's apartment. The location is perfect for walks and swimming in the Maggia or Melazza - which our dog also liked. We'd be happy to come back!

We spent 2 weeks in the lovely holiday home of Jenny and Ivan. In a quiet village at the top of the mountain. A road with beautiful hairpin bends to the top. Beautiful and green surroundings with beautiful views. The house is large with 3 floors. A nice large kitchen with everything you need for cooking. 2 pellet stoves that warm the house wonderfully when it is cooler in the evening. 2 large terraces overlooking the mountains and terrace downstairs. We slept wonderfully and enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful surroundings. Thank you Jenny&Ivan, you are great hosts

The apartment features a beautiful and simple design with stunning views of the mountains and passing trains — truly a highlight of our stay. It’s well-equipped with most of the essentials, making our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We did encounter a couple of minor issues: the Swiss-type sockets were a bit inconvenient, and while the host kindly explained the situation, no adapter was provided. Additionally, the large garbage container outside was locked, which made waste disposal a bit difficult. Despite these small drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches throughout the apartment.

We loved the stay, the rustic was renovated with a lot of love. Everything worked perfectly from A to Z and Michelle always responded extremely quickly. The village of Aurigeno is very quiet, the villagers meet in the small osteria after work and you feel very welcome. You can go on wonderful excursions into nature and there are various grottos in the area. We were able to relax perfectly.

A star rating is useless for this gem in Northern Italy. It’s so far above a “stay” and The Farmhouse is an experience not to be missed by those who align with an authentic natural setting with uniqueness off the charts. And you’ll have to make the effort to enter the property. If effort is your entrance fee then look elsewhere. It’s more than worth the steep hike on a short trail to enter this palace of solitude. Ken is the ideal host and even offered up his garden for our salad.

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!
