Holiday houses in Onomichi

I went with my family of four.It was the most satisfying I have ever stayed. The children were delighted the moment they entered, and they had a good time in the hammock. The garden is also wide and open, and it was a very good time to play catch and talk with nature. The host responded quickly and politely, and I was able to communicate with great peace of mind.I think there were guests the day before, but there was no water drop in the kitchen or bathroom, and it was well cleaned and I had a pleasant stay. My son Tanuki appeared in the adjacent field, and it felt like I was used to people.I was able to enjoy Sakijima's island time, and I was able to relax and communicate with my family away from the daily routine. Really recommended! I'd love to stay again.

It was the best accommodation.The location and cleanliness were better than I imagined.

We had a lovely stay at this house in Tomo Port. The location is great - easy walk from the bus stop, and close to shops, restaurants and the ferry to Sensujima Island. The house is as described; the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to be left a couple of coffee pods and green tea bags. The hosts provided very clear instructions about how to access the house and were quick to reply to messages. As for the town, we enjoyed exploring the historic sites, sampling Homieshu, walking on Sensujima and loved the salt grilled sea bass.

This was one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Beach and views were beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had many added amenities. We had fun kayaking, hiking to the observatory and biking the Shimanami Kaido cycle path. Kazu went above and beyond even offering to transport our luggage as we were on bikes. He was helpful with instructions and recommendations, super friendly and a fantastic host. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The traditional, old Japanese house has everything you need and is a very nice place and good base for a visit to rabbit island. A very big bonus is the cafe/ restaurant on the ground floor in front of the house, where chef Shoji prepares delicious Japanese - Italian fusion dishes. Absolutely recommended! Also the reception by Kumiko was most friendly.

I have stayed in many Airbnbs, both domestically and internationally, and the whole family unanimously was the number one place to stay.The room overlooks the sea and mountains, and I don't care about people or artificial sounds.There's no other place to stay in this environment.The garden is also lovely for gardening.As pictured and described, it's more than the photos, more than the listing, and the price. The interior is also unified, and the owner's taste is shining.The flow was also good, and everything from the kitchen to the bed and sauna was thoughtful, and it was convenient and comfortable.The owner was also quick to respond to questions and had no trouble. It's a shame it's not an easy place to go because it's far from home, but I hope to stay next time from summer to fall.

This great lovingly furnished cottage is our favorite of our trip. Rei and Akira picked us up from the bus stop with the pick-up and car. The house is directly on the sea, you can hike right from home or relax in the house, cook with bluck on the sea and much more! It's a pity that we only stayed here for one night. The place invites you to linger. Warmest recommendation!

Great place to stay in beautiful Onomichi, close to the train station, restaurants and waterfront. Close to a big supermarket and good bakery and the sea. The new building has three floors. We stayed on the ground floor which I recommend. The apartment is Newham, and has a big bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The place is big enough for two people staying, and well heated in December.
