Monthly Rentals in Okuizumo, Nita District

Truly lived up to the photo images and most certainly a very fascinating and sophisticated accommodation considering it is in a small rural village town. The early morning sun casting shadows of the beautiful decor in the Japanese quarter of the house was absolutely riveting and had me waking up early the next morning to chase after the sun yet again! The stylish and expansive kitchen is very well equipped with a robust cooktop and a proper extractor hood which made cooking very enjoyable. Last but not least is the manicured garden which adds another level of appeal and character to the house. The host was very responsive and helpful in all manner and a very friendly communicator. This time, it was Shimane (Matsue, Izumo, Tamatsukuri Onsen) for four nights and five days with a family of four.The accommodation we used was just a short walk from Tamatsukuri Onsen, and we enjoyed the day-use hot springs.In Matsue, I enjoyed Matsue Castle and Horikawa Tour, and Izumo enjoyed Izumo Taisha Shrine.It's 4 pits and 5 days, so I bought it at a nearby supermarket (Acoop) and finished dinner.You can also use the washing machine once, use the coin laundry right next to the supermarket, and finish the tea at the supermarket coffee shop, and dry it.The house is very clean.Everything was provided, so I didn't have any trouble.It was very quiet at night, so I slept well.We would like to stay again for our trip to Shimane.I had a good family trip full of memories.Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home - it's full of character and charm, set in a peaceful location that made for a truly relaxing stay. One of our favourite moments was watching the sunset from the rooftop - absolutely stunning. The owner is very friendly, flexible, and accommodating - he even gave us mochi on our last day, which was such a kind gesture! One thing to note for future guests: the office space on the property is in use by the owner and staff during weekday working hours. They use the same entrance and facilities, which wasn’t clearly stated in the listing at the time of our booking. While this wasn’t a major issue for us, it’s something to be aware of if you're looking for complete privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.
