Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ogunquit

A great spot for a relaxing and peaceful weekend on the Maine coast. Jane and Rachel are very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The house has a nice old time charm with beautiful landscaping and a pond. It’s about half a mile drive to Fort Popham. Closest beach is not really walkable though as most of the lands are private. Popham beach is public and it’s about one mile away. The drive down from Bath is beautiful with views of large marsh areas. Overall it’s a nice experience.

Our stay was exceptional. The accommodations were superb and exceeded expectations. The host was so friendly, helpful and clearly experienced in providing an extraordinary experience for guests. We were a very close walk to downtown Freeport. We will definitely return!

Connie is a very affable host and a veteran in the industry- she was quick to respond with a snack when I had to leave early. I look forward to additional trips to Freeport as I'm getting to know the area; am sure I'll return to Candlebay Inn.

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

What more can we say - wonderful experience and wonderful hosts! We greatly enjoyed staying with Gretchen and Keith and found them to be great people - friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The room was as pictured and described, in a great location, the breakfast by ‘Chef Keith’ was delightful. If you’re considering staying here, do it. We’ll be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beaconlight.. we were sad to leave! Marsha is wonderful and a large reason the stay was so seamless and enjoyable. She was incredibly flexible with check-in, was fun to chat with and had great recommendations. Definitely book this place! We can’t wait for our next visit.

Kelleigh and Dave are the perfect hosts. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with our 6-year-old daughter and, on request, informed directly about all the special features of the place. The two were extremely helpful throughout our stay and were able to give us many good tips for the area. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful and well-kept house, the sparkling clean rooms and the cozy and warm atmosphere. The whole thing was only surpassed by Dave's unique breakfast. It was pure pleasure to be able to look forward to the delicious and varied creations every morning. The food was incredibly creative, fresh, healthy, and all in all a culinary highlight of our three week tour of the United States and Canada. We would come back anytime and thank Kelleigh and Dave for three unforgettable days in Freeport.

The grounds are beautiful and the inn is very clean and charming. Jill is so friendly and quickly responded to the messages I sent. My husband and I had a quick visit but enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast (French toast casserole, ham and egg bake) before we left! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This was our 2nd stay with Gwenda and Don at their B&B. Gwenda is an Amazing Host and goes above and beyond for her quests. Her breakfasts are a work of art and so delicious. They both make you feel at home and are so wonderful to chat with. They provided great recommendations for the area. If you have never experienced staying at a B&B I would highly recommend staying here.

This was my second time staying at the Silver Fountain Inn. As usual, my bedroom was enchanting and spotless, breakfast was delish and the hosts were very welcoming. The tea selection is always so much fun to explore. I also love the monthly theme changes and the grounds of the inn are so peaceful and lovely especially during the summer months. Hope to be back soon.

We were very happy with our stay. As noted, Valerie was friendly, informative, and helpful. Our room was clean and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

If you’re visiting Kennebunkport, Harbor Inn is truly the place to stay. We were greeted by Mike, who showed us all the amazing amenities, told us the story of the property, and helped us with our luggage. He gave us recs for dinner restaurants and was very friendly and accommodating. The place itself is SO charming and beautiful. The detail of the decor and furniture is thoughtful and fitting of the area. The location is incredible - walking distance to downtown and to the coast. We took the provided bikes along a beautiful road to enjoy the scenery. I would definitely stay here again and I can’t recommend it enough!

The place was great, very cozy and peaceful. The room and bathroom were perfect for a night getaway. bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great and Krista was kind enough to make mine to go. Definitely will be back!

Amazing stay - waking distance to center, beautifully decorated house and rooms, delicious breakfast and so appreciated the homemade gluten free items and breakfast items. Michael the host helped with luggages and was super welcoming. I can’t imagine going anywhere else if in the area again!

Loved our stay! The house was so warm and welcoming. The room was very cozy. We’d definitely stay again! I wish I would have taken pictures of the gorgeous dining space with the beautiful breakfast spread in the am which was a delightful surprise. It felt like staying with family. It was lovely to stay at a proper old-school B&B, and Amy is the perfect host. The breakfast was delicious, and the chickens, cats and goats were a highlight. I particularly appreciated Amy accommodating my coeliac disease for breakfast. Would recommend!

Krita is an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and cared for. CML is a charming, traditional Bed & Breakfast featuring a cozy downstairs den with a fireplace, a comfortable living room, a spacious dining area, and plenty of thoughtful amenities. We were genuinely impressed by the quality of both the breakfast and the service—especially considering the reasonable price. The entire place was spotless, and the attention to detail was outstanding. After a day exploring the mountains, relaxing in the outdoor hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at the CML. Room M5 was as listed with a detached but private bathroom right across the hall. The inn itself was beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the new innkeeper Krista was a great hostess. The property is beautiful with a couple of small benches on the river behind the home, a nice outdoor and indoor fireplace, and just very cozy common areas. Would absolutely stay here again!
