Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Offaly

Had a wonderful stay while working at Electric Picnic. The hosts were very flexible with checking in. Very welcoming and warm. The room was 10/10, so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks so much for a memorable stay.

Fiona is a very pleasant host. Room and baythroom was spotless and bed very comfortable. Lovely view of the garden.

Staying with Michael was truly the best start of our trip! From the very beginning, it felt like staying with a close friend who genuinely cared about our experience. Michael is one of those rare hosts who goes far beyond expectations—he spent so much time with us, sharing his knowledge, his stories, and his love for the area. Every morning, he prepared an amazing and healthy breakfast that felt like it was made with so much thought and care. He also took us around to explore the most beautiful spots near his home—places we never would have found on our own. Thanks to him, we got to see a more authentic, local side of Ireland, and even had some fun “training” in the Irish accent! 😉 Michael is not just a host—he’s a genuinely kind and generous person who made us feel welcome and cared for every single day. We left with full hearts, grateful for all we experienced and learned. If you ever get the chance to stay with him, don’t hesitate—you’re in for something truly special!

If you are thinking of booking this house for EP or the ploughing for a large group I would 100% recommend! The house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious with gorgeous gardens. Siobhan greeted us on arrival and was so pleasant and friendly, she even gave my partner a drive to electric picnic as he arrived later than the rest of the group. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and she even left some food and milk for us! She really went above and beyond and was so responsive.

Great stay! Everything was as described and the host's were fab. They really couldnt do anymore for us. Initially worried about sharing a home with our two small children but they felt right at home and hosts made it very easy for them. Would totally recommend. Great location and a beautiful, clean home. Thanks so much both!

I had a wonderful stay at Breda's place. It suited exactly what I needed as I was visiting friends and family nearby to celebrate NYE.

Host was very nice and always helpful, the villa was beautiful would definitely recommend for a couple on a nice getaway, I’ll definitely be going back again , the cabins themselves felt really cozy and just had a at home feel to them also the extra options for the jacuzzi and sauna were good really recommend, the Vila in general looks beautiful and very peaceful almost felt as if I wasn’t in Ireland and away in a tropical forest, the cabin was also super clean and very spacious over all I had a wonderful stay with my partner solid 5 stars

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

Donatas place is so far and beyond any other cabin I’ve had the privilege to spend some time in, 100% privacy with utter peace & tranquility, the place was incredibly clean & the bar & hot tub were perfect additions , would highly recommend to anyone ! Hope to be back sometime in the near future !

Mum and I had a very lovely stay at Colette’s. The cottage was charming and well appointed. We were greeted by the loveliest dogs. Colette came with extra fire starting kit and even started a roaring fire for us along with Riley the dog who was just adorable. We had fresh eggs on arrival and cake on our last evening. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Thank you Colette for your hospitality and your kindness. Helen & Bridget x
