Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oceanside

Our stay was wonderful! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and were so thankful for a place so close to my wedding venue. We enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine and the living room was perfect for pre-wedding discussions. Meghan was extremely responsive and made sure my weekend stay was smooth.

Paul and Amy's place is just as described - a big backyard with plenty of space for dogs to run around, spa amenities, and a comfortable interior. I ran the SD marathon, so it was nice having the spa treatment there. The area is nice and walkable, with restaurants nearby by car. Would stay again!

This was my second time staying at Sarah’s place in Vista, and it was just as great as the first! The home is peaceful, super clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can tell Sarah puts a lot of care into making sure her guests feel welcome—from the thoughtful touches around the house to how easy she is to communicate with. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway while still being close to everything in town. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. Vi’s place was homey beyond expectation. My wife was very impressed with how available everything was especially in the kitchen because we are a family of 6 and always eating out would have not been cost effective. We felt right at home. My wife especially loved the complementary fruits, water, and treats. The kids rooms were packed with toys and books they could read and play with in their spare time which was amazing. The living room was filled with board games for the entire family. The garage also had amazing games for the entire family with foldable chairs and equipment for the beach and camping. There was so much to do in the house that staying in was not in the slightest boring. The entire family enjoyed the pool and the spa and had an amazing time especially on the days we stayed in. I certainly would be booking Vi’s place again anytime we are in San Diego.

We rented this house to spend time with our grown children and grandkids. It was amazing! Better than any words can describe. We had plenty of room and the kids (3 under 3) loved the grass! Beds were super comfy and loved going to sleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing. This house had everything we needed and more. We just brought our clothes and food. We all decided this needs to be a new tradition for our family and will return soon. 10 out 10

I really enjoyed my stay! Such a cute place with great amenities. The home was very clean upon check in and is exactly as described and pictured. For me, it was in a very convenient location. Also the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Thank you for the great stay!!

Beautiful home and close to the beach as stated. Our intention was to visit the beach and relax and we did just that. It was roughly a 9 minute drive to the parking lot south of Oceanside Pier where we wanted to go. Cindy and Alex’s house was big enough to provide my big family space and room to breathe. Cindy and Alex’s communication was spot on. Anytime I had a question or concern they were quick to respond. Thank you again for providing a vacation house for me and my family!

Beautiful location and luxurious accommodations. Plenty of space for families traveling together. Lots of storage. The view is unreal, and the proximity to the water is perfect. The noise from the Strand can be loud at times but the doors do a good job of blocking the sound. We enjoyed the fire pit that runs on propane at night to make s’mores. We had a beautiful multi generational girls trip. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a wonderful place! It was perfect for two couples celebrating the birthday of one of us -- with two separate bedrooms, each with its bathroom. It will also be great for a larger family. There is an upper deck from which you can see the ocean, which is perfect for a relaxing morning coffee and/or cheerful happy hour. We were steps away from the water and did not miss the spectacular sunsets from Tower #9. The well-equipped kitchen allowed for the preparation of fully cooked meals, and the dining table was beautiful, which allowed us to fully enjoy those meals. We love Oceanside and really hope to return soon and stay close to Tower #9 again!

Location is the best about 150 yds from ocean and 100 yds to small supermarket and eating places. Cy is the most diligent host we have encountered. Lives on site and constantly making small, useful improvements

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

Stayed at Angela’s beach condo for a week and a half and loved it so much! So nice to have a dedicated parking spot as we’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and sometimes finding parking can be tricky. It was wonderful to be close to the beach and my favorite PB restaurants - I could easily walk to get coffee, pastries, tacos, and a great local yoga studio. Would love to be back in the future - thanks for a great trip Angela!

Beautiful little apartment down in Carlsbad. Right next to the beach with a nice outdoor barbecue/lounge area. Owners were very responsive and kind!

We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend at Richard's place!! Very cute cottage that was clean, bright, and had all the amenities. We loved that he included a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for us to use. The beach was an easy few blocks away and took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to. Restaurants are within walking distance too. There were also plenty of bikes and helmets available to use and my family was able to enjoy a lovely ride in the neighborhood. Richard was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!!

Location is very walkable to charming downtown Vista area, and the unit itself is clean, airy, and spacious with plenty of amenities! There are clear instructions in place too and the dedicated parking was a big plus. It was a peaceful and restful place to stay, thank you Kim!

If you enjoy peace and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of even a small city, and incredible views from your bedroom window, this place is a must stay! Victoria, our host did a great of communicating and working us to make sure we had all of the necessary details in advance of when we needed them and the house has all you’ll need for your time there. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely choose to stay here in the future.

This was our second time at Twin Oaks, bringing our kids along this time, and it was another amazing visit. From the parking right by the kitchen door it’s easy to unload our van and settle in for 3 nights. Two slept soundly in the loft area and the other was on a bed in the sun room. We enjoyed the firm king bed and slept well to! There are no blinds in living room so the view was spectacular though it did mean the kids woke up early. The house was clean and comfortable and easily cooked every meal in the well equipped kitchen. Sandrine is a great host, we have really enjoyed staying with her!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

We had a lovely weekend stay! Rowena is a fantastic host. She was warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She made our arrival smooth and our experience even more special by answering all our questions promptly, especially when we weren’t able to reach RedAwning directly. Her thoughtful touches, like leaving wine for us, really made a difference! The cabin itself is charming and full of personality. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit under the stars and peaceful mornings birdwatching from the porch. The neighborhood cat even hung out with us! Inside, we loved the quirky features, from the stone basement to the attic bedroom, and we had fun with the board games and projector setup. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs are uneven inside and outside the cabin, which could be tricky for guests who prefer more stable footing. Thanks again for a comfortable, memorable stay!

People were not kidding in their reviews. This place is so peaceful and so lovely, so organized, and just like eeeeeveryone else said- that bed. It is heaven. Will def be staying here again.

We stayed in Ephraim’s adorable A-frame cabin for one night while headed to San Diego to visit a friend. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful on a long, winding road. When we left the next day, we were above the cloud line. The cabin itself is wonderful. We couldn’t help but walk around and appreciate all of the little design choices inside! The bedrooms are cozy and nest-like. The kitchen is spacious and open. The lot is pretty private. There are some other cabins close by, but you don’t notice them once you’re inside.
