Beach condo holiday rentals in Ocean Beach, San Diego

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Our family of four stayed for a week. It’s a great area away from crowds. The place has everything you would need. A plus to have beach gear to borrow during our stay, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and sand toys. We had a small/mid size suv we were able to fit in garage, we had to get a little creative on how to get in and out of the car but it was not an issue. I would book this place again, you can’t beat the location if you want to be in the quieter section of mission bay. Communication from host was great.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Great place to stay to be close to the beach and boardwalk! Parking Was a challenge on the weekend but we were able to walk and find it easy.

The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic! Great communication from the Airbnb host. Would recommend using Google maps to find the condo since Apple maps takes you to the alleyway. The master bedroom on the third floor is significantly hotter than the other rooms, even with the AC on, but it wasn't terrible.

We had an amazing time during our recent stay! Having the sliding glass doors opened and sitting out on the patio with the amazing view was the best part of our stay! The place is compact but has everything you need, not a ton of bathroom privacy FYI, but we made it work. Communication was amazing and lightening quick. We also loved that bike & beach gear rental was included. High walkability to bars, shops, and restaurants! Just book it!

very very happy with my stay at this great airbnb. tons of people and hustle and bustle going on constantly outside the window which i loved and perfect location. ill be back again for sure. love people watching so this is a perfect stay if you like to also.

Very private, considering the proximity to other properties and Bay/Beach. We loved being able to walk right to the Bay or Beach and the beach toys provided were a huge plus for our kiddos. Nice gated courtyard area where we BBQd each night. 100% would stay again!

This is a superb location for the rental. I was thoroughly pleased on the condo, great amenities with such a comfortable and cozy home feel. I am immediately looking forward to rent again, comfortable in price as well. Our host Eric went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of in every aspect with great communication. Can't wait to be back and I highly recommend this place, I sure will with my friends.

This is one of the best (maybe the absolute best) airbnbs I've stayed at. The location is even better than it looks in the photos. The perfect soft sand beach on the bay side is nice, and it's way quieter than the ocean side. But the ocean side is just a short walk. Blue Water took amazing care of us - with a great gift basket, responsive maintenance, and lots of check in communication. I will 100% try to stay here every time I come to San Diego!

Beautiful home, easily accommodated our family of 11, access to the beach was undeniably perfect for paddle boarding (we had our own), lounging, football and just spending time together. We were attending a family member's memorial service so it was an important time to be together rather than a hotel stay. The only draw back was parking...we have a large SUV and while the garage was plenty large enough for 2 vehicles, access between the buildings made it impossible to park our vehicle. There is a free public parking lot .7 miles away at Santa Clara point, which we used. It is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute car ride. We had another small vehicle which we were able to use as a shuttle. The parking situation would not be enough to deter me from renting again as the house is lovely, it was just a small speed bump that we needed to work out. Definitely enjoyed the welcome gift :)

Great family destination! We were able to enjoy the views of the beach 24/7. Had an excellent stay, with plenty of entertainment for the kids, and ultimately a place to get your beach experience..... Enjoyed 100%

My family and I couldn't be happier with our stay! The place and location were absolutely beautiful. The home had everything we needed, which was super helpful as we came from the other side of the country. Not needing to stress about having enough towels, laundry soap, and other every day items were a giant relief. There were a couple hiccups with the place, like the tv's missing the remotes. But Bluewater's team were right there to take care of it as soon as we called. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we know where we will be staying!

The customer service exceeded our expectations – the staff was incredibly accommodating when we needed to make some changes to our reservation, making the process completely hassle-free. The place itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable. We were welcomed with a cute gift bag and a helpful binder with all the necessary codes and passwords, which made everything super convenient. My family loved staying here, and if we return to San Diego, this will definitely be our go-to spot. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this home. Our favorite part was the private backyard hot tub. It was spacious and relaxing with beautiful surroundings. The jets were not working which was communicated to us a few days before our trip. Honestly it didn’t matter because it was like our own oasis back there. We loved it. We also loved that we could walk to the beach and everyone was so friendly and willing to take our picture for us. The sunset over the ocean was breathtaking. The only downfalls were that the hot tub was not cleaned before our arrival and the oven was not working but we messaged the host and they sent someone out the next day to clean the hot tub and fix the oven. We understand things happen and they were quick to fix it. After that all was smooth sailing and we truly enjoyed our stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and they provided extra towels when requested which we appreciated. Would recommend staying here.

Great location! Great view! One of the best places to stay on the boardwalk. The sliding glass doors overlooking the Pacific made all the difference. Breathtaking! Customer Service was great with efficient communication. Condo was clean! Due to the condo design, the security of the structure was safe. We didnt have to worry about second story or squatter break-ins. We had a GREAT time!
