We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

In einem ruhigen Wohngebiet, unmittelbar am Rothaarsteig gelegen kannst du direkt zu Wander- und Radtouren starten. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer, Gästezimmer für plus 2 Gäste, ein grosses Bad mit Wanne, Gäste WC mit Dusche, einen Wohn-/Essraum (mit Kaminofen) und Südwest-Balkon. Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, like hiking or cycling, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to stock up for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is about 10 minutes by car. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets available. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or take a sauna in bad weather.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. We are renting out the main part of a freshly renovated former school building. The house is ideal for relaxing, making music or for groups who have to work in the area of Weilburg. You can get to Frankfurt fair by car in about an hour. The house sports several bathrooms, toilets, a complete kitchen, Sat-TV, WLAN, a fireplace, a big conference room and 3 sleeping rooms for up to 8 people. The surrounding is very quiet. Air condition in two rooms. No smoking inside the house.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
