Missouri Flat: Mountain retreat minutes from town

We are located about 10 minutes north of downtown Moscow, close to popular hiking and mountain biking trails. You will be in our above-garage studio with a designated parking spot and a peekaboo view of the Palouse. The studio is most comfortable for just two people, but there is an extra queen foam mattress and bedding for the floor if needed. Come enjoy mountain beauty and solitude, minutes from town! 20 min to Moscow-Pullman airport 25 min to WSU 15 min to UI Dogs welcome. Sorry, no cats.

The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a 10-foot accordion door that opens completely to the deck outside with a hot tub waiting for you. Stay in a charming 2nd floor apartment in a century old house in the quiet town of Garfield. Enjoy lovely views of nearby mountains and the Palouse hills. There are sidewalks throughout town. You'll be two blocks away from the Garfield public park, 3 blocks from Bishop's orchard, and 6 blocks away from Schaut's convenience store. There is a town pool open in summer months. The apartment is a short drive from Steptoe Butte State Park and hiking trails on Kamiak Butte and Idler's Rest.

Grandma’s Farmhouse

1950s farmhouse. Kept to almost original as when grandma lived there. Knotty pine walls and vintage linoleum. Throughout the house, there are vintage photos and family history posted. It is by no means fancy but it is clean. We are located in Steptoe Wa but is surrounded by farm fields and a seed plant behind. Agriculture area so be aware that dust may be present and farm equipment near by. * note- exterior will be remodeled and painted as soon as weather allows.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
