Waterfront holiday rentals in Norwich

A lovely little chalet that was perfect for exploring during half term. Comfy beds and pillows which meant everyone was well rested. Shower was surprisingly powerful and underfloor heating in bathroom a nice treat. Kitchen is well kitted out with appliances and utensils enabling us to cook most evenings. Electric heaters and fans both available should temperatures lower or rise .. we had no need to use them. The electric meter didn’t guzzle money either. Found it to be a quiet location despite plenty of other chalets being occupied. Easy walking distance to beach and amusements. We explored various National Trust locations (Horsey Windpump, Felbrigg and Sheringham) and would highly recommend visiting. Also explored the Military Museum up near Sheringham .. again, well worth a visit.

Chalet is fantastic – highly recommended! The chalet is the perfect size for four people – we were a group of three this time, so it felt especially spacious. The site is peaceful, with friendly and quiet neighbours, which made for a very relaxing stay. The marina is just a two-minute walk away and is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of beaches within a short drive, and a great selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance. Dennis is a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The views from the apartments are just phenomenal at any time of day you can watch the world go by, see the sunrise and the sunset with a glass of wine in your own comfortable and private space. The location is set right on the promenade with your own parking space supplied by the booking and from there, you can walk everywhere in Cromer to all the facilities including pubs, restaurants, the pier, cafés, bars etc. Park the car and leave it there for your whole stay, Cromer has really good bus and train links up and down the coast. Excellent walking from the apartment across the coast paths: turn left and walk for about an hour for Craigie Bottoms restaurant (excelkent seafood) or turn right on the coast path and do a long circular walk towards Gunton (3-4hours) where there is spectacular countryside, easy walking and some fabulous country pubs. This apartment is of an excellent quality, perfectly located and the host is very friendly, would highly recommend for a quality stay.

I took my two kids to stay at Moat Island for a couple of nights during Half Term whilst we visited relatives nearby. It was the perfect mid-point location, but also felt like a special and memorable site. The bell tents are cosy and warm, and the composting toilet next to ours was the nicest I’ve ever used. I found myself going to it repeatedly when I only needed to walk about 20m more to get to the plumbed indoor ones! We enjoyed having a communal kitchen area, as it allowed us to chat to a few our ‘neighbours’. The outdoor pond/pool was utterly freezing, but worth a dip. And thankfully the nearby showers were gloriously warm.

Beautiful space with a quality finish and lots of thoughtful aspects. Beyond our expectations and was lucky to be able to check in a little earlier too. Will not hesitate to recommend and would love to return. Plenty to do in the area and considerate, welcoming hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A brilliant location, near the perfect sandy beach and all local amenities in this wonderful "old world" resort. Restaurants and pubs (and a brewery) only a few minutes walk away. The access might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems - it's up two flights of steep steps, the first of which is like a fire escape. We had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime! There is nothing at all to fault here and everything to praise, from the location (superb views, lovely coastal walks or a quick amble into town), light airy and spacious accommodation (and so private - despite there being other flats in the building we never heard anyone) to the friendliness and helpfulness of Sarah and her family. A genuine treat!

We had a lovely couple of nights here. James was great and responded quickly, the house was clean and felt like home, the beds were really comfy too! It’s a great location, the bar on site served delicious food and lots of places nearby to explore. We will be back!

we had a very relaxing stay at the coastguards cottage. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home and the surroundings are just as stunning. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the business of city life for a few days! There is limited electricity as advertised but we had no issues and were easily able to charge phones and lights.

Fab stay at Alicia's place. A unique and spacious cottage in a beautiful location. We loved the peace and quiet and hired paddle boards from Alicia to explore the river that runs just across the meadow. Everything you need has been thought of which was really welcome when travelling with children. We visit relatives a lot in Norfolk and this is one of the best places we have stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon house. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. So close to the beach and amenities! Great having space for 2 cars off street parking too, made unloading/ loading much easier.

This is the second time I have stayed at Amanda's home. Set over three floors, it is an excellent place to live comfortably. This is the first time i have taken a pet, and she was very well behaved. Because the house is in a lovely neighbourhood we acknowledge sound curfews, and we were very careful not to disturb any of the neighbours. Cars are easily parked and generally safe. A perfect place to stay, where we enjoy walks and the local maritime features. The Gorleston-on-Sea beach has to be the best ever. I always like to leave a place as i found it, and I don't think our host will be in anyway disappointed that we left it beautifully clean. Thank you to our lovely host, and we hope to visit again.

The apartment was small but had everything we needed and more. Wonderful surroundings, generous and helpful hosts,extremely clean and well equipped. Lovely little town easy to walk to. Great dog walks and our dog was made welcome by Jan and Mark. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spent an enjoyable week in this lovely apartment with fantastic sea views from every window. Really enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea on an evening. The apartment was spacious and well fitted out (even a full length mirror which most hosts do not provide). The whole apartment was spotless with an easy walk to shops and bars/restaurants. We decided to park in front of the apartments rather than using the underground garage as the access was a little tight for the larger car. We had no problems parking and generally a space was available along the street if we went out for the day. Check in went smoothly and it was very nice to have the use of a lift as we were on the second floor. There was renovation work going on in the children’s playground in front of the building but this wasn’t really a problem as the workers finished work at 4pm every day - sorry we never saw the finished playground before we left as think it will be a useful facility.

A lovely apartment on two floors, at the top of a beautiful Georgian building. We used the round room inside the rotunda at the front to have breakfast whilst watching ships on the river and out at sea.

You can almost dip your toes in the sea seating on the sofa in the lounge. It is that close to the beach. !

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location, easy walking distance from the railway station and the city centre. The apartment was very clean, and it felt very luxurious having a large living room as well as the kitchen and bedrooms. We appreciated nice touches like the snacks that were left for us. The instructions for getting in sounded a bit complicated, but actually it was easy once the pub staff showed us where the door up to the apartment was.
