Holiday rentals with breakfast in Northern Vietnam

Amazing host, one of the best i have ever experienced. She was really helpful, so loving character. Would really recommend to stay at this homestay as you wouldn't get any better than this in Ninh bin.

Van was an extremely accommodating and friendly host, who helped us book rides and motorbikes, and gave advice about what to do in the area when. Breakfast was wonderful, and the property is STUNNING, looks exactly like the pictures. Peaceful, safe, clean, and walkable. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay in this cozy spot in Vietnam! 🏡 The heated beds and blankets were perfect for the cold weather, and the fireplace added extra warmth 🔥. The staff were super responsive, supportive, and always ready to help! 💯 As city folks, we appreciated how seamless everything was, with someone always available to communicate with us. 🗣️ The food was delicious 🍲, reasonably priced 💰, and the beautiful surroundings made it even better. 🌿 Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and cozy escape! 🌟 We’d love to return! ❤️

This is a true Vietnamese family home stay. Hung his wife & amazing 2 young boys ( great interpreters) were the best host. The breakfast that are included were different every day & tasty. We stayed with them for dinner 1 night for a feast of Vietnamese culinary delight, from the fresh fish to the homemade spring rolls to the amazing vegetables, for 3 big lads from Canadian we were stuffed. And copious amounts of Hung’s homemade Plum wine. They drove us into town when we wanted but we enjoyed the magnificent beauty of being 5000 ft up on the side of the mountain over looking the valley below and staying around his home. Great coffee and views just up the road but the coffee at home was excellent. Recommend this 100% on your list, very rustic & a bit to get to but this family makes it worth the trip.

Our stay was an extremely pleasant experience. our host was full of attention both to organize our trips and for our daily comfort. small heaters and lots of blankets allowed us to have two great nights. the meals are really very good. the family atmosphere, very welcoming, made us spend unforgettable evenings. Thank you so much for these moments of sharing that will remain among the best of our stay in Vietnam.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Stay – Do & Her Family Are Amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, Do, her husband, and their children made us feel incredibly welcome. While they don’t stay overnight, they join for dinner if you choose—and you should! For just 150k dong per person, we had the most delicious home-cooked meals. After dinner, Do and her family played fun games with us, including rice water drinking games, and we could play our own music on the speaker. We also had a blast playing darts with Do’s husband, but what stood out most was how Do quietly cleaned our shoes while we played—she truly goes above and beyond! Do gave fantastic recommendations, including a stunning waterfall. On our last day, she took us on a private tour to visit local tribes and tea fields, including transport, food, and water. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. If this what you’re looking for we definitely recommend you stay. Thank you Do & Family for a memory we won’t forget ❤️

Hoan’s place is perfect for exploring the beautiful area. It is private and peaceful but within a couple minutes walk to the centre of Tam Coc. We arrived by sleeper bus at 3am and Hoan was so helpful and flexible regarding check-in. She even put the hot water on for us to have a shower! We rented bicycles from Hoan and she also did our laundry within a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend this home stay!

I have used it many times and it is very comfortable. There are also many restaurants, bars and shopping in the area Conveniently located. The room is also clean and towels are changed every day.

One of the nicest places we've ever stayed with AirBnB and also one of the most helpful, responsive hostesses we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Miss Trang gave great instructions upon arrival and answered our many questions quickly, always with additional helpful information and assistance. The apartment is well-equipped and clean, and the hostess made it a completely lovely experience! We'd stay again!

Super spacious and comfortable! The beds and pillows were perfect. Massive tub that easily fits two. Great location, close to old town but still quiet at night. They also offer complementary room cleaning each day. It’s a treat to climb into a freshly made bed in an AirBnB! The reception also makes it convenient to drop bags early. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

10/10 this Airbnb for sure is one of the biggest highlights of our 3 months long trip in Vietnam..great location for nature lovers and they do breakfast for you whenever you wake up. Although the weather got super cold when we got to Ninh Binh it was an absolute delight. Amazing food, great location and of course out of this world hospitality for the price you pay.

I can’t say enough good things about Quyen & Tam’s homestay. I booked super last minute (day of) and could not have asked for a better experience, with home cooked food, and option to join Tam for a cooking lesson in the evening (highly recommend—some of the best food I’ve had in Vietnam!). They are such a kind and sweet family, I felt so touched by their hospitality. The room was spotless with excellent shower pressure, much needed in the sweltering heat. Of all of the places I’ve ever stayed in my travels, I would rate only 2 places a 10 out of 10, this one being one of them.

Staying in Trong‘s homestay in Mai Chau was really a highlight of our Vietnam Trip. Mai Chau is such a beautiful calm place and perfect for cycling arround the rice fields. Bikes are available for free in the stay. Trong was everything a perfect host can be. From inviting us to a dinner and having some „happy water“ together to organising a scooter and everything we need for us. He was even checking on us as we took a longer trip with our motorcycle and came back late. The coffee he makes in the morning is delicious. All in all a warm hearted place with a warm hearted welcoming family and modern comfortable rooms. Definitely recommend staying here. We will come back for sure!

The room was good. No luxury but everything you need and superbly located. Breakfast was also delicious and sufficient. By bike we were able to explore the area widely. The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

I stayed at La Maison Homestay for one night with my group of friends, and we really loved this place. Although we had to walk uphill a bit, the breathtaking natural scenery from the house made it all worthwhile. The house was very clean and well-equipped—perfect for a mountain stay with nothing to complain about. The bedsheets, blankets, and bathrooms were spotless and smelled fresh, and there was a lovely scent of essential oils when we stepped inside. Every morning, the housekeeper and Sen came to prepare breakfast for us, and they cleaned the house daily. I really enjoyed the hiking trip that Nicole arranged with a local guide—they were amazing! I also truly appreciated the dinner at their restaurant, Sa Moc. I will definitely return with my family. Thank you all for your hospitality—this was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The host was wonderful!

Excellent private ensuite stay just minutes from the Trang An boat docks. Beautiful place with lovely service. Clean and comfortable. They accommodated early luggage drop off, rented us a scooter, and extended our stay on a last minute request. You can't beat free breakfast at this price. The self-service fridge for water, beer, and soda was convenient and very reasonably priced. The landscapes are beautiful and there are nice places to sit along the water and on the rooftop deck. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The available motorbikes/scooters were super cheap to rent, but older and in rough shape. If you are planning to do a longer excursion on your own (i.e. National Park), we would recommend getting a nicer, newer one in town before you come. If you are just going to do the very local stuff, their scooters are perfect - cheap and very convenient. They also have bikes available and food most of the day, but we didn't use these services. We would definitely stay here again.

Loan and her family are very welcoming and communication was great. The breakfast was good and we also ate a meal in the evening which was delicious. The area is great for cycling and the bikes we rented from the Homestay were of good quality and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay here.
