House holiday rentals in Northern Norway

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Excellent! You can't describe it any other way - great communication, very nice hosts! The apartment was exactly as described; check-in hassle-free, everything was perfect! You really feel at home. Meanwhile, the two also have a small shop in Kiruna with super cool and above all not so ordinary souvenirs. In the evening, Brice also provided the northern lights "warning" as a service when something has happened in the sky. Great! Thanks for everything. I will be happy to come back!

It was a short stay but it was a pleasant one, sauna is nice

FOR a place!!!! I felt an immediate calm as soon as I entered the house. The house is large and absolutely beautiful!! It was good and warm, nice decor and lacked nothing. There's a piano on the second floor, and I loved it! I can't play, but I really enjoyed sitting by it and "playing" while I looked out over Vefsna. Absolutely magical!! I have already decided to go back next spring/summer, and then I will stay more than just 2 days. I really recommend both the house and the hosts here!!!

Amazing house in a beautiful location. We had a very nice stay here. The house is very cozy, sauna is great and the pool was awesome. The hosts are very friendly and communication was smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

Linda and Semi's summer house is the best place for adults and kids to relax and play in summer. we stayed there for 2 days. The place provides countless recreational facilities. you can have suna, hot tub, fishing, paddling, table tennis, ... The rooms are clean. The kitchen is full-equipted. We had a great time there.

Would highly recommend this property. Beautiful views. Modern amenities. Host was extremely helpful. Have equipment on site for you use. Host can help with setting up excursions. Would definitely return

Very nice and clean accommodation. The landscape is very peaceful. The host is friendly and really very responsive to messages. We didn't miss anything. If we come back to this area we would rent this place again without hesitation!

the house impresses with its beautiful location directly on the sea, we could watch northern lights directly from the terrace. the living room invites for cozy hours by the fire. in the Nordic Hotel 500m on foot there was a great breakfast buffet. so we can highly recommend a stay here, there is nothing missing!

We loved our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to have during our stay! We loved staying a bit further outside of Rovaniemi city center so that we could really get to experience more of the natural wonders that Lapland has to offer. We wish we would have been aware of the smaller hot water tank before booking. This was not a problem this trip but if we were traveling with family and cooking we can see where the limited hot water tank size could be a problem. Overall, we would book this cabin again!

Lovely old cottage renovated with good taste in a quiet location. The chickens were clucking in the yard and the owner was really nice. The evening sun shone beautifully inside and in the morning we went to the sauna. Really neat and all the amenities were found. I have to come again!

Wonderful house with beautiful surroundings. Very recommended for nature lovers even if the weather is bad: this house can save your holiday even if you can't go out.

We booked this property 4 months in advance and at that time it had only one review. We trusted it and we were not wrong. The apartment is new and bigger than it appears in the pictures. It is bright, comfortable and has a 5 star view of the fjord. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking.The bathroom is large and has many places to put your thing.This is one of the top 3 Airbnb accommodations we have stayed in. And especially because of the hosts! Wonderful people willing to help with anything you need. They waited for us with warm cakes just out of the oven. We found essential things for breakfast in the fridge. Even though the weather was not on our side and it snowed almost every day, Jann cleared the snow from the parking lot and offered to take us wherever we wanted. Although we didn't see the Northern Lights in all their magic, it was worth traveling 5000km one way to meet wonderful people. Thank you Reidun & Jann! We hope to return soon. Gina & Dan - Romania

Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. The ferry is so easy. The owners truly know how to make your stay feel special. You're going to find it difficult in your next Airbnb to find the attention to detai

A really great house! We felt very comfortable. The house is very nice and really has everything you need. We were there with our two small children and there was everything! Toys for outdoors and indoors. In the end, our older daughter said she would like to stay here ☺️ The property is great. There is everything for both parents and children. A sauna, fireplace, jetty into the water, playhouse and sandpit. Peter and Lovisa were super nice. They always helped us very quickly and also inquired! We totally recommend it!

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Very nice cabin, with upgraded kitchen, living room and bathroom and nice bedrooms. The only thing we thought was a bit bad was the old kitchen equipment and service. This should be upgraded. Otherwise, nice location.

The house makes you feel at home from the first minute. Everything you need is there and there are many activities nearby. The tranquility is indescribable and we could even watch the northern lights with the naked eye. Absolutely recommended as the communication with the hostess and the suggestions for activities are also first class.

We had a great time in Harstad and enjoyed our time here. We didn't have the best weather but Glenn's house was perfect for relaxing and watching the storm through the big windows.
