Do you want to experience the silence and richness of nature in Finnish Lapland near the Arctic Circle? This unique wilderness cottage offers peace, berry picking, mushroom picking and, with permits, fishing and hunting. The wilderness cabin is located on the shore of a pond and river. The cabin yard is reached by crossing the river on a bridge. There's no electricity in the cabin. The cottage has a wood-burning stove/gas stove with cooking facilities. Lighting is provided by lanterns and candlesticks. The courtyard has a fireplace and a sauna, which is 40 cm from the river.

Little red cottage

The cottage is the old main building of a log-built horse farm and is almost 100 years old. In 2010, the cottage was renovated from floor to ceiling. The cottage is 45 square metres and includes a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. The cottage is located in the courtyard of the horse farm, and there are horses and cats on the farm. You can greet the horses by arrangement. The hosts live in the same courtyard. Guests with pets are allowed in our cottage. 6 km to the grocery store 4 km to the beach 3 km to the nature trail 35 km to Oulu I speak English.

In the summer heat, you can cool the apartment with an air heat pump. Forest ranger's cabin

Spend the night in an atmospheric cottage! In the same place, in the 19th century, there was a forest ranger's cabin. The current cottage, built in the 1950s, and its surroundings will tell you about the past. The cottage has electricity, an air heat pump and a water point in the sink. The room has two bunk beds, 4 blankets, 8 pillows and sheets. Important things to note: outdoor toilet and yard sauna (1992) with hot water boiler and shower. There is a new lean-to and a campfire area in the yard.

Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
