We had a wonderful time at Ingrid's house and felt like at home. The apartment is very homely and comfortably furnished and is in a super location in Tromsø. Ingrid was very helpful and gave us many good tips about the area. The equipment is as described, it has everything you could want. Many thanks, Ingrid, we'd love to come back!

The host was very accommodating. Thanks to the tips she gave us, we enjoyed the holiday better. We felt like we were at home. We were very impressed by the quiet and calmness of the island. The house was very well equipped. The view and atmosphere were impressive. We had the experience of hiking on the island and sipping my wine while watching the northern light.

My family and I stayed at Mikkelvik’s over Christmas holiday. We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, extremely clean and the hosts were very friendly. We arrived the day after Christmas to find all supermarkets were closed and the hosts were kind enough to share food with us. One of the main reason for us choosing this Airbnb was to see the northern lights. My parents are older and didn’t think they could manage the 5-6 hr excursions from Tromso. Just a five minute drive down the road from the Airbnb, weather permitting, you got a pretty good view of the lights and we saw a lot of the paid excursion cars from Tromso in the area. Would come back and stay again.

Absolutely lovely place, we felt right at home straight away. Super clean, modern, well equipped and exactly as per description. Communication was brilliant and very helpful, location was beautiful. This is such a special house with an unbelievably beautiful background! For starters, the house itself is huge and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and top-notch appliances. The island itself is stunning, and even without a car there’s plenty to do outside, or you can just sit and enjoy the views for hours. Rune was always very responsive and provided lots of great local tips. Would recommend to anyone who wants this unique and peaceful experience. I hope to return one day!

You can’t beat the view! Stig’s place was very comfortable and had everything we needed as we explored Tromsø and other hiking spots near the town.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Villa! Tone and her son, were SUPER responsive and helpful on everything. Tone even stopped by to help us with suggestions on how to do things at the house. The area is gorgeous and perfect for those who want to be out of the city to enjoy nature a bit. We highly recommend this place!

We were three families and spent a wonderful New Year's week in the house. The year couldn't have started better. When we arrived, the house was warm, cozy and decorated for Christmas. We immediately felt comfortable. The one bedroom and sauna were smaller than expected but ultimately completely adequate. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked wonderfully and fit 12 people (just about) at the big table. A highlight was the Yakuzi in the upper bathroom - after walks at -20 degrees we were warmed up again. The view over the fjord and the huge jetty were wonderful. Since the houses next door were not visited, it was also very quiet. One evening, a very nice neighbor let us know that the Northern Lights were there. Indescribably beautiful! Nearby (25 min) is a great polar bear park. The ski slope in Narvik (60 min) is also great! Communication with Torkjell was very nice and helpful at all times. Thank you!

This was our first time in Tromsø so we wanted a place that could accommodate five adults in comfort, but was also convenient for accessing attractions. We were not disappointed. The space was simple but lovely, and very convenient for the cable car up the hill to view the Aurora, which was spectacular! Lene was lovely and very helpful. For all the other attractions, it was only a 25 minute walk across the bridge. One recommendation in winter: watch out for the incredible wind chill while walking across!

We had a great holiday in Norway. The house was beautiful, very modern and in a very nice location, just 25 Minutes outside from Tromsö. A great starting point to explore the beautiful countryside as well as Tromsö.

Very beautiful house, family and cared for. We feel welcomed and safe. One of the nights we saw from the bedroom window to Aurora. Everything is tidy and has the kitchen very well equipped. Great for families!

We really enjoyed our stay in Frank's beautiful house. Lots of space and a nice jacuzzi! Frank is a kind host, responded quickly if we had any questions. There is a busstop close to the house, the bus goes to Tromsø often. You can also take a taxi. To Tromsø center we paid NOK 1000 (one way)

this was honestly ideal. the view from the yard and from the living room is what you imagine a tromsö view to be. the house itself is spacious, great location (bus stop 3 min, bus ride to city center 10 min, suburban, quiet, the sea is right there), great taste in furniture and decor, we (a family of 5) felt really good there. sippie the cat was a hit with our 4yo, the trampoline was also a major highlight with the kids. the store is just a walk away. on many nights we simply wandered around the beachfront looking for "the perfect rock". this is not a generic "made for airbnb" space with just the essentials. this really is a home away from home. 10/10 would reccommend.

The hosts were really friendly and avaiable for anything. The house was a dream! In the middle of "nothing" but still good connected to shapping malls. Very quiet and with amazing view to the see. Really near to the main ski-tour routes and ca. 1.45/2h to Tromso. I would reccomend it big time!

We were warmly welcomed. The cabin was perfect. We watched whales and northern lights from the terrace. Despite bad weather, we felt very comfortable, we had everything we needed. Lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped. Requests were answered promptly. We say thank you for these three great days. Michaela and Stephanie We will be happy to come back!

Day’s bungalow was amazing. There were seven of us staying and there was plenty of space. The place was warm and very well equipped. Dag was very available to answer any questions we had and made us feel very welcome. I would strongly recommend the property and owner.

Beate’s place is clearly a well loved family home. Perfect location overlooking Hamnnes harbour and literally skiing from the door for the Uløya mountain loop. If you in the area you couldn’t find a nicer place to stay.

Beautiful spacious and modern house with splendid views of the fjord. 6 seater hot tub very easy to use + gym. 2 shower rooms with toilet. Very peaceful environment. Ingvill is very kind and responsive. Thank you for this great stay!

Ann-Kristin was always quick to respond to messages and prepared check-in optimally. We felt right at home. The house was clean, matched the listing and beautiful. There were plenty of ways to do things in the area and everything was easily accessible by bus. We had a wonderful stay at Tromsø and I highly recommend Ann-Kristin as a host.
