Cabin holiday rentals in North Troms

We spent a fantastic week in an exceptional setting and a functional and cozy accommodation. A true haven of peace that is very much worth a visit!

This cabin is outstanding, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful 6 days here while ski touring in the Lyngen Alps. The cabin is really well located and it was a total luxury to come back and have a hot tub and sauna to ease the tired legs. It is beautifully furnished, very cosy and the kitchen has all you need to cater for yourself. It was really useful to have use of the washer & dryer as well. Jorgen & Nina are great hosts, they provided lots of information before arrival and answered any queries instantly. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Our stay was just wonderful. The house has a stunning view of the sea that we enjoyed daily. The place was spotlessly clean, cozily furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and the proximity to nature made our stay particularly relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we were completely comfortable. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Super place and great location

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

Great place. Only feedback would be for an osthovel for cheese. Everything else was fantastic and will stay there again

Visited Bente’s fantastic cabin for the 4th or 5th time - we just love the view and the location is very good for ski touring especially in the northern part of the Lyngen area.

The airbnb is a great place. It is publicly accessible by a ferry from Hansnes. The views are great for the sea and the mountains. We were lucky to see the northern lights right outside the airbnb! Hilde was very responsive about my queries. She was proactive in letting me know about the weather in advance and also notified us about potential time for seeing the Northern lights. if you're looking tor a cozy Airbnb, publicly accessible and great location, this is it! Very nice place. Close to nature. We were lucky enough to observe a fishing eagle from the cabin in the morning and the northern lights in the evening. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises. A big thank you to you May-Tordis for hosting us in your cabin.

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Lovely quirky little cabin. Melissa has the cabin very well kitted out. It was warm cosy and comfortable. It was ideal for our overnight stop on the way to Tromso from Lofoten Islands.

This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. Thank you so much. We truly hope to return someday. With love.

We struggled to find the cabin but I don’t think we would have had any difficult if we had arrived in daylight. The host was very responsive and arrived on site within 3 minutes to show us where to go. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was basic but just as described and what we expected. It was nestled in a lovely peaceful and tranquil environment. A perfect place for a nature lovers get away.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

The property is 2 minutes drive near the jetty, which is very convenient for visitors to the island on the pier at night.The cottage is very cozy, including all kinds of kitchen supplies, so it was a very comfortable night here.

Dear Amadeus and Family, we had an amazing time on your beautiful farm. The place is truly beautiful. You lent us snow shoes so we were able to hike some snowy mountains, see reindeer and moose and even the northern lights. Tromsø isn't too far away so we were able to visit some pretty and impressive places like the polar museum or the beautiful cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay especially due to your and your family's kindness. Whether we had a question, were in need of firewood or snowed in on our way to the airport at six in the morning, you were always kind and helpful. You even gifted us some of your farm's eggs, some champagne or soda, just because. Thank you very much! We can really recommend this airbnb. It's surroundings are beautiful and you reach it easily. You can park direktly on the farm. The hut is well equipped and it lacks nothing. There was a snowstorm going on and we were still very warm and cozy. Check in and out were easy. The hosts are very kind. 10/10

Incredible cabin in the norwegian wilderness. Just beautiful.

The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️

We had a great stay at Ann-Tove's place. Beautiful view, really nice sauna, all amenities you need to spend a few days in the magnificent Lyngen alps. The best place I have stayed in Lyngen so far. Highly recommended!

Quick response via the airbnb system for questions and feedback. We were out of season and then it was very quiet and peaceful in the mountain village. Well-equipped kitchen with the things we needed. Happy to choose this place again if I need it.

We had our mountain ski vacation in the house and we had a great time. the house had everything advertised and is very comfortable. and hot. the sauna came great to recover from our days. Kristen was very helpful at all times, responding quickly to our requests. thanks !!!!
