Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Providence

Wow what a great spot. Great neighborhood, lots of great food nearby. Jean is one of the best hosts I have ever had. Her home is absolutely stunning and well kept. She was so accommodating and so kind. Jean has a fenced in space and dog bags making traveling with my dog so easy. Easy location to find, close to the highway, downtown Providence and Brown campus. Off street parking such a plus. Walkable beautiful neighborhood. Safe, quiet. The house is in great condition, very thoughtfully decorated and cared for. I would 10/10 recommend and would absolutely return in the future.

Lovely, charming house. Patricia was very kind and welcoming. She met us at the house despite it being late. Patricia's thoughtfulness was readily apparent in the wealth of kitchen amenities and options she shares with her guests; definitely a people person! The home itself is exactly as pictured. Parking is easy. It's quiet at night for sleeping. With windows open the morning traffic noise may bother some. We had a comfortable stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. The neighborhood was very lovely and close to everything.

This house is so lovely, we had the best time! The amenities are exceptional. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were able to cook dinner every night. The parc nearby is really nice! We hope to book again someday.

This is our second stay at Courtenay's historic home. As she describes - it's an old home with the idiosyncracies of a home with over 200 years of history. It is a spacious home with lovely furnishings. Kitchen has all you'll need. The area can't be beat if you are visiting Providence and/or Brown University. We were lucky enough to book her house during our son's graduation and could walk up the hill to the campus in 5 minutes. Courtenay is always responsive and flexible. We will stay there again!

Really happy with my stay here. Very peaceful Airbnb and also very easy to get inside. I loved the kitchen and how spacious it was. The Shower was my absolute favorite.🤩 10/10 would stay again! Thank you!!!

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay while visiting Bryant University. The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described.. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. Would definitely stay again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Federal Hill! Staying at Diane’s place was an absolute dream! The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of historic charm that made it feel both cozy and special. Located right above Venda Ravioli—one of the best spots for authentic Italian food in all of New England—you truly can’t beat the location. Federal Hill is already known for its vibrant culture and incredible dining, but being able to walk downstairs and grab fresh pasta, espresso, or a world-class meal was a next-level experience. Diane clearly puts a lot of thought and care into the space. Every detail felt considered, from the decor to the amenities. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone visiting Providence. Whether you're a foodie, a history lover, or just someone looking for a clean, beautiful place to stay—this is it.

Really appreciated their allowing us to put our electric bikes in a fenced area out of sight as we had some concerns. Francis and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is really great, very spacious, conformable beds, very well equipped and wonderful bathroom. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and CVS. Quiet neighborhood and Farmers market close by during summer. Hosts are extremely nice and respond to any questions in a matter of minutes. This is the second time me or my family stayed in the apartment and have always had a great time. Thank you very much!

This is my second time in one of Jennifer’s places! I just can’t rave about her spaces enough! They are always super cute designed, squeaky clean in all the spaces, has everything you need and then some, the bed’s are so comfortable and with great pillows, you have parking at the space, and accommodating with check in and out! How much can you ask for! Will be staying again soon

Susan's place is a nice, quiet, cosy little attic apartment. It is exactly as depicted in the photos and described in the comments (and in all the other reviews). The location is a quiet, residential street. The bed is comfortable. The shower works well. If you are as tall as I am (6'2''), you'll find yourself crouching in some parts, such as by toilet and getting in and out of the shower, but I was able to stand upright for most of the apartment. The location is convenient enough. It is possible to walk to/from the train station (about 20 mins) and to Downtown Providence (about 30 mins). I had only a backpack with me and was therefore able to use a Spin scooter to quickly get to/from the city. Overall, the place matched what I was looking for my short, two-day stay in Providence. GREAT STAY! WILL BE BACK!!

Very cool space in oldest Arcade in America and a perfect central location to launch from. Highly recommend walking along the river and check out the new bridge and all those amazing restaurants along the way. Plus get in a set of music at Nick & Nees too. James was on point and helped me navigate check in even though my train was delayed. Top notch all the way. Plus very comfy bed for solid sleep.

We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court! The location was the perfect spot to be near the main attractions around Thames Street and convenient to walk elsewhere. We loved having a private parking spot for our car as well. Bonus perk for being able to bring our dog with us! The hosts checked on us every evening if we needed anything—provided recommendations, and were super friendly and welcoming! Only downside to being so close to downtown is the loud noise from a nearby bar late at night on weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Newport/Pelham Court and hope to come visit again in future! Thanks for having us! :)

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Liliane's place is a great find. It is in a very convenient location in Newport where you can walk to the water and multiple shops and restaurants. The space is filled with light and it was very clean. It's a very comfortable place to come back to after exploring Newport. Liliane was a fantastic host, very responsive and provided very clear instructions. We would stay here again.

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.
