Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Preparing food with the Airfryer, in the microwave or on the terrace on a gas grill. Drinking water can be obtained directly from the kitchen faucet. Guests have access to the entire cabin, which includes sleeping areas for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Although our small, modern and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential property, here you will find peace, nature, privacy and beautiful scenery. There are excellent fishing opportunities on the water. What's more, the location is perfect for remote working! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing on a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Little cottage in the tranquility of nature

Nature's peace is present. Neighbors are not visible and very rarely heard. The area marked in green in the last picture (3ha of forest land) is available for dog activities or even for riding an ATV. The rivers converge on the plot, creating a fair amount of coastline. You can sit on the river bank in the evening and listen to the otter or beaver splashing. Or a worm-eater surprising prey. Behind the river, I find a sandy desert covered with pines and lichens.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
