Beachfront holiday rental in North Karelia

The space was up to what was described in the listing. We particularly enjoyed the view, the calm and the direct access to the lake. The chalet is well equipped for a family stay.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

We enjoyed the holiday there very much. In addition to pure relaxation, there were also plenty of activities that were offered to make the stay as unique as possible. The toboggan run, which is only a few minutes walk away from the house, was a super busy for small and large. With the snowmobile provided, we were able to explore the surroundings and drive through the snowy forests. We had a lot of fun! The highlight was also the ice bathing in the lake after the sauna as well as ice fishing. Many thanks to Arthur and his son for sawing up the hole in the frozen lake😁. Definitely worth an experience! We can only recommend this house from the whole family and assure you they will have a holiday like never before with enough fun and relaxation.

The posting is very accurate: a peaceful cottage in the woods with lake access. There are XC trails nearby that can be walked. The place is remote, but not far from a bus station if needed. Host provided potable water and there were plenty of heat sources to stay warm. A lovely and affordable retreat for anyone looking to escape into nature.

Decent apartment! Good sauna and spacious balcony. Check-in is easy. We will continue to come!

Nice and convenient small houses on a camping ground directly at the lake. Houses are quite close to each other so you could hear your neighboors.

Our stay at the villa was just amazing. We usually never go to the same place twice but we both are considering to come back again.

This cabin is just 15 minutes from Joensuu and completely accessible by car in winter. The cabin is very private, quiet, and completely relaxing with a nice fireplace and wood burning sauna. Everything was completely clean and modern, great functional layout for a small space as well. Host was very quick to respond with any questions and provided proactive check-in instructions. Great place and fantastic value!

We were very happy with the place. Beautiful in nature, with great views of the lake. The equipment was completely sufficient and in the evening you even had the opportunity to go to the sauna. I'd love to come back :)
