Beachfront holiday rental in North Karelia

Would definitely recommend booking this place! The cabin is lovely and the location is great. It is right next to a beautiful lake and close to the Koli national park.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. Lovely spot with nice walking trails in the national park and also from the house. Used the canoe for a gentle paddle in the evening - beautiful!

We enjoyed the holiday there very much. In addition to pure relaxation, there were also plenty of activities that were offered to make the stay as unique as possible. The toboggan run, which is only a few minutes walk away from the house, was a super busy for small and large. With the snowmobile provided, we were able to explore the surroundings and drive through the snowy forests. We had a lot of fun! The highlight was also the ice bathing in the lake after the sauna as well as ice fishing. Many thanks to Arthur and his son for sawing up the hole in the frozen lake😁. Definitely worth an experience! We can only recommend this house from the whole family and assure you they will have a holiday like never before with enough fun and relaxation.

We stayed at this beautiful lakeside house with our family for 4 days and had a truly wonderful time. The location was peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing. We especially loved having access to the rowing boat and spending time on the lake. The grillhouse was excellent and terrace was a great spot for family meals and evenings together. The house itself was a great size for our group, very comfortable and well-equipped. The sauna was fantastic, and we really enjoyed jumping into the lake after sauna sessions.

The stay went very well, it included all the services indicated. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and there weren't too many people, probably due to the low season. Wonderful location! We had a good time.

Central,great location, everything you need, and even something extra was found. Great views from the balcony. We had to pick up a little parking spot probably because of the opera. We'll probably come back another time.

Great place to stay! Has everything needed for a great vacation and the location is superb. Bikes and boats are provided for free. We really enjoyed exploring the lake by boat. We are looking forward to coming back one day :)

A wonderfully cozy and thoughtfully built cottage. Great sauna and lake to swim and paddle. Plus the beach and the fence! I'm sure it will work in worse weather, we had the perfect warm summer holiday. ☀️

We had a nice weekend at Minna's cottage. The listing matched the description well: a clean and quiet wilderness cottage. The location was private and peaceful. Nearby is Petkeljärvi National Park with stunning scenery and several routes for day hiking. The cottage was clean and equipped for the night and cooking. The sauna in the cottage was a really great experience :) We stayed at the end of October, when it was already quite cold, but the cottage heated up quickly and kept the heat well. For those staying later in the fall, I recommend a headlamp for the trip, as it was really dark in the evening. Minna was a friendly and helpful host!

This property was amazing, we had a great time being located in nature. The sauna, lake and fire pit were great in the evenings to unwind. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. (Thank you Enni!) We will be looking to come back for sure!

Great place with beautiful lake and beautiful jetty for fishing or swimming. Delicious sauna, also for bathing. We enjoyed. Got nice tips from Marjatta for walks, she is very helpful!
