Cozy summer cottage in Koitere

The cabin features a main room with an open-plan living and dining area. There are two bedrooms, each with a 120 cm wide bed. In addition, the living room has a sofa bed, and a foldable extra bed and a travel cot for babies are available if needed. There is no running water inside the cabin, but water can be pumped from a private well. The kitchen has a sink, and you can do the dishes and cook as usual — the cabin operates with manually carried water. The water has been tested and is confirmed to be clean. Dogs are allowed. There is also a small dog kennel and an insulated doghouse on the property. The yard is fenced, but we cannot guarantee that dogs cannot escape. There is a covered barbecue area with both a charcoal/wood grill and a gas grill. The lakeside sauna includes a changing room and the sauna itself. Washing water is carried from the lake. The sauna stove has a small water tank for heating wash water. The sandy beach is shallow and ideal for children. The sun shines nicely on the beach during the day. A small motorboat is available on request and can be used by agreement.

In the cottage by the shore of Höytiäinen, you can spend your holiday surrounded by a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Preparing food with the Airfryer, in the microwave or on the terrace on a gas grill. Drinking water is available directly from the kitchen tap. Guests have access to the entire cabin, which includes sleeping areas for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

The rustic cabin on the shore of the pond, built by Vuorineuvos S.A. Tervo, offers a touch of history in its own peaceful setting at the tip of the peninsula. The atmospheric, electrified cottage offers peace in the middle of nature, but is only about 15 km from the services of the town of Nurmes (Bomba, Hyvärilä are about a 10-minute drive away). The shallow, fish-filled pond offers good recreational opportunities, and there are good mushroom and berry areas in the surrounding area. An idyllic destination for a family holiday as well!

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Lieksa's jongun River is a wilderness cabin by a peaceful pond, in the middle of the cornice. Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, the Jongunjoki river, the Karhunpolku trail, and the Ruunaa recreational fishing and hiking area. There's no chance of running water in frost time.
