Holiday rentals with beach access in North Hempstead

Great, clean space at a great location. Having on-site parking was very helpful. Nice ocean views from multiple rooms.

We have stayed at several lovely places in Highlands, NJ, and this one was far and away our favorite. Amazing location near the beach, gorgeous water views from the kitchen table, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Check-in was easy and the location can’t be beat! The mattresses were so comfortable and it was quiet, so we slept really well. We took the Seastreak ferry, so we didn’t have a car, but everything was walkable. The deck and yard were great, with extraordinary water views and even some nesting birds! The hosts were wonderfully responsive and lovely, giving good recommendations. We enjoyed reading some of the books and magazines and playing some of the games. It was a delightful stay, all-around.

Jeanette is a wonderful host. She met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of our rental ensuring that she answered any questions. She is very responsive and quick to answer any follow up. questions or concerns. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is great, across the street from Long Island Sound and bordering a large nature preserve. All this and easy access to shops, groceries, and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental.

It was perfect. im so happy i chose to stay there and I got to meet Carla. Ill stay again for sure.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Location is perfect and Jaime was incredibly friendly throughout!! He let me know that they had everything we would need.. but as a self-described obsessive packer I didnt listen. He wasn't kiding! They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you need for the perfect beach day. I brought an entire wagon of stuff and used one bag. It really is an awesome little find!!

Very welcoming! This place gives home away from home, and is located super close to the beach. The host is absolutely amazing, and accommodating. His communication skills are top tier! I recommend this place, and I will definitely book again if available.

I felt that Allison’s place was very clean, neat, and had anything that I could’ve needed. She also sent me a message, letting me know that if I didn’t need anything to let her know. Since they did such a good job with making sure everything needed was there I had no need to contact her. The next time I come to New York, I will definitely try to find her place.

This was one of the most memorable and meaningful events and Ashley's gorgeous home was the perfect centerpiece and the warmest most wonderful place that we could've ever found. We are so greatful! The decor, the furniture, the rooms, the beds, everything available for us to use, I can go on and on and on. The pictures don't do it justice. Wow if you are on the fence of where to go, THIS IS IT! We hope to come back again!

So glad we stayed at John's beachfront home. We wanted a way to escape the noise and chaos of a large city and this was the perfect fit. Granted the commute is longer, but we couldn't get enough of the amazing ferry ride from Rockaway to Manhattan/Wall Street. Such a great way to explore NYC.

Super spacious and great place. More than enough space for our family of 6. My best friend was getting married so it was a great walkable location for a long weekend at the beach. I’ll definitely book it again next year for a long weekend just to visit.

Spent the last week of the summer at this cute little cottage less than a block from the beach. The house is as described, looks like the pics, clean, stocked with amenities, and has a cute little outdoor deck area with a view of the water. Location is walkable to a few restaurants and creamery. Neighbors were so friendly; a really nice community. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I have stayed at a ton of different airbnbs, vrbos and vacation rentals both stateside and abroad and I have to say Anne’s property is among one of the best we’ve stayed in. We were traveling with twin toddlers and the space was perfect. Anne is very friendly, the place is larger than we expected, very clean and you can tell Anne cares to the make the best experience possible. All the little touches were so wonderful - she has beach chairs, reusable beach bags, sunscreen, books, kids toys, coloring accessories, balls and toys, an outdoor game, hammock, lanterns, lights, fire pit and wood, you name it - it’s there. It was one of the most convenient stays we’ve had. We’d love to return and I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Very cute Airbnb and location. Clean and wholesome, spacious and nice sized space for a group of 6-8. We were worried about the one bathroom, but with coordination/communication it can work (plus the outdoor shower was a nice perk)! I appreciated the dish washer, full equipped kitchen and the beach chairs provided and table/chairs in the deck. The upstairs AC was also incredible! Downstairs AC unit was trying their best 🙏. Staff also provided a sweet personalized note and number to call if anything else was needed. Felt much at home. If queer/POC, just be mindful that Ocean Bay is not like other parts of Fire Island (Pines or the Grove). Be safe and don’t wander off alone.

Great place, exactly as advertised. Terrific location near ferry dock (making arrival/check-in extremely easy and fast, which was a relief after a long trip to get to Fire Island), near the little main hub of Cherry Grove… minutes or less to the general store, restaurants, bars. 5 minute walk to the beach. Although there is some bar noise at night, the unit is well sound-insulated. Hosts extremely friendly and communicative, full of info and recommendations. They take pride in their place and in being great hosts. Cozy place with very good value for Fire Island. The pool was a nice plus - salt water pool, lit at night. Met some of the other residents in the building who were extremely friendly and fun. Bed was very comfy. We slept in a lot. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Nice desk in the bedroom for the few times work called. Roku TV. Lots of board games Bedroom has AC which worked great. Beach chairs and towels included. Coin laundry on site worked well. Great value. Would definitely return!

Perfect location for a quick get away and so thrilled we could bring our furry loved ones. Eoin was kind and prompt with communication. The location is walking distance to all you could need. It was a quiet and peaceful few days.

Nick’s place is the jackpot! My stay was comfortable and peaceful - two of my most important requirements in an airbnb. I had everything I needed, and Nick checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly. He was also readily available for any questions I had. I loved the ease of attending my workshop at Pioneer Works. While my colleagues were taking Ubers in from other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, I had a mere 4 block walk. And the Red Hook neighborhood is a slice of life. I had everything I needed within a few blocks - restaurants, bars,bodegas and a few nice shops. This was an absolutely delightful place to stay, and I look forward to coming back and hopefully staying longer next time.

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

The spacious condo was spotless and bright with high ceilings. Plenty of room to spread out. Communication with the host was fast, they were very accommodating. The unit was very quiet and comfortable, easy to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped. I hope this will be available next time I’m in the area!

Salma is an amazing host , who made sure to check in with me to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The unit is as described , and the neighborhood is peaceful . I would definitely stay again ! A++
