Holiday rentals with a fire pit in North Africa

What a pleasure to have stayed in Diego‘s wonderful and peaceful home surrounded by such a lovely neighbourhood. We loved the rustic flair of the place and appreciated the materials/elements/shapes/colours Diego embedded into this lovely cave. You can tell that Diego has a good eye for things. Diego is also an excellent host and gave us tips for hikes to particularly beautiful places and more. Since we visited lovely Scicli during Mai/June and experienced the garden in full bloom, it was such a soothing oasis - the special gem. The shower space, design and experience is incredible and comes with a view to the sky. It's the big little things that make it so special: the tableware in the kitchen, pictures placed, furniture telling stories from the past and the wonderful places created. The floor in the ground was so very special for us, since the kitchen floor merges into the stone. If someone happens to have the same preference, it’s highly recommended to walk the floor barefoote

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was nowhere near enough, I could have stayed forever! Everything was perfect, from check in until check out. Andrews met us personally to show us the way to the way to and around the house, as well as provided an extensive list of recommendations/tips of what we can do during our stay. The fridge was also stocked with beer, water and juice and we also had home made halloumi bread which was such a nice touch. I can't fault anything, we spent the majority of our time outside soaking in the beautiful views surrounding the pool. Words can't describe how beautiful this home is. The location is also great as you have peace, views and tranquility all around you, but also have all the essentials such as a 24 hour shop, supermarket, restaurants etc. I wholeheartedly recommend Juniper Mountain Retreat, Iook forward to returning in the future. Thank you Andreas for such a wonderful stay.

Angelos’ Villa Mousa is an excellent choice for your Naxos vacation. The area is very private, located on the top of a hill, with magnificent views of Plaka Bay. This is a perfect location to view the sunset. The accomodation itself is clean and homely, whilst maintaining the traditional Cyclades style. The private pool is a lovely addition and really adds to the experience. Angelos is potentially the most attentive host I’ve ever stayed with; he offered local recommendations, was only a message away and even gave us a lift into town, saving us €50! Great host, great location and a wonderful place to stay.

Joao is extremely responsive and helpful . He was very flexible about check in and out times The Villa is stunning, even better than the photos show, clean comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return soon Thank you Joao

The contact with Fernando was great. The house was amazing, especially the view on the sea. Everything was clean. You need a car to go there, but it's worth it!

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

We loved our stay at the Kashbar, it’s a beautiful villa with a great pool, we even had a bonus of some stray kittens! Due to location, you do need a car, it’s not far but is secluded and not really walking distance from much, the whole team were super friendly and helpful with local recommendations, taxis, car hire, food etc, we will definitely be back, we love Essaouira X thank you 🙏🏻

This place is REALLY spectacular. Even better than the pictures! The open expanse of ocean, and the sound of the waves at night, made our experience here unforgettable. Christelle was a splendid host; she made everything clear, was always available, and also left us to enjoy the wonderfully private feel of the property. It is an ideal base from which to explore Tennerife. Perfect!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage ist ideal – etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber mit einem schönen (aber sehr steilen) 30-minütigen Spaziergang gut erreichbar. In direkter Umgebung gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und einen super Obst- und Gemüseladen, in dem man zu einheimischen Preisen einkauft – ganz im Gegensatz zu den überteuerten Preisen in der Markthalle von Funchal. Zudem befindet sich eine der besten Bäckereien der Stadt in der Nähe – ein echtes Highlight! Die Unterkunft selbst ist top ausgestattet, sauber und bietet mit ihrer Terrasse einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Hafen und Teile der Stadt. Den ganzen Tag über genießt man Sonne, inklusive traumhafter Abendsonne. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Firstly, Maddalena was friendly, communicative, responsive and very, very helpful. She was the perfect hostess. Her apartment was the best apartment we have ever stayed at in Europe. It is modern, spacious, well equipped and well cared for. The beds were very comfortable and the showers all worked well. A large balcony gave us a great space to enjoy the fresh air. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Grazie mille Maddalena.

Really lovely stay and host. Francesca waited for our late arrival to show us the home. It was even larger and more luxurious than in the photos. Well equipped and thought out for guests. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Dounia was an amazing host! The apartment was just as described, right on the water front, and even had games and beach equipment. Dounia helped organise a taxi from the airport and a trip to Paradise Valley for us as well as sorting any issues we had within minutes! Lovely host and great experience overall :)

A very artistic studio located in the heart of Catania, easily accessible by car. The space is situated within a residential building (note: no elevator), but it's safe and secure—we had no issues during our stay. The host was incredibly accommodating and highly responsive.

Wir waren im Juni 2025 in der Unterkunft von Maria Francesca. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit auf Sizilien und das Apartment war wunderschön. Die gesamte Anlage hat den Flair der Insel perfekt widergespiegelt und man hat sich dort sofort wohl gefühlt! Bei jedweden Fragen oder kleineren, aufgekommenen Herausforderungen konnten uns Vittorio, Maria Francesca und Maria Assunta sofort helfen. Das Apartment selbst in einem super Zustand. Alles was man braucht, findet man dort, und wenn einmal doch etwas benötigt werden sollte, wird es einem umgehend zur Verfügung gestellt. Zusammengefasst können wir also sagen, dass wir mit unserem Aufenthalt in der Villa Lionti nicht zufriedener hätten sein können. Wir können es daher uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und wünschen allen dort einen genauso tollen Aufenthalt! Grazie mille per tutto, Maria Francesca, Vittorio e Maria Assunta! Alla prossima! 😁

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Unterkunft war perfekt für uns. Toller Blick aufs Meer und die Berge, gigantischer Sternenhimmel und nur 5 Minuten bis zum Surfspot. Die Outdoorküche und BBQ auf der Aussichtsterrasse haben uns auch gut gefallen.

מקום יפה, נעים ושקט. נוח למשפחה עם עד ילד אחד ובעל חיים. גינה נעימה עם ערסלים כיפיים והרגשה של פרטיות ושקט. אהבנו מאוד את הנכס ואת הכפר. המטבח די מאובזר ובישלנו קצת. ממליצים.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei backto Nature wirklich sehr genießen können! Unsere Kinder haben den Spielplatz und den Pool total gefeiert und wir Eltern konnten hier richtig runterfahren! Ich würde sagen, es ist ein magischer Ort, welcher hier geschaffen wurde - für die Seele!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wurde die Unterkunft gezeigt und erklärt. In der Unterkunft erwartete uns ein Willkommens Geschenk. Darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend ausgestattet und mit liebevollen Details dekoriert. Wer Entspannung und Ruhe sucht, ist bei Marcos & Karin genau richtig. Sie waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns jede Menge Empfehlungen für die Umgebung gegeben. Das Grundstück bietet duftende Orangenbäume. Jeden Morgen konnten wir frisch gepressten Orangensaft genießen. Die Gastgeber geben sich sehr viel Mühe und machen den Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Es befindet sich gekühltes Bier und gekühlte Gläser im Kühlschrank. Neben den Entspannungsliegen steht ein Sektkühler. Es gibt Bademäntel und Handtücher für den Jacuzzi. Strandtücher, Stühle und Sonnenschirme für den Beach. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns jederzeit wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen wieder!

Nous avons passé quelques jours très dépaysants chez Catherine un bel endroit pour déconnecter et se reposer L’intérieur est très cosy ou règne une douce ambiance . Par contre l’emplacement a été un peu difficile à trouver mais la communication avec le fils de Catherine a été excellente. Et il a pu nous guider jusqu’à Shanty Kaouki. Je recommande cet emplacement sans hésiter .

Accueil en personne très chaleureux, logement très bien équipé, grand jardin disposant de plusieurs endroits où se poser fonction de la météo, firepit sympa, à bonne distance de plusieurs randonnées interessantes. De manière générale logement agréable et confortable

Die beiden sind tolle Gastgeber. Sehr bemüht und liebevoll. Ihre kleine Hütte ist der Hammer. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Nichts überflüssig. Heiß duschen ist möglich und ein Gym vor der Tür. Dazu wird man immer wieder mit leckerem Essen überrascht. Am letzten Abend durfte ich dann noch aus der Ecuadorianischen Küche kosten. Das war super. Ich habe den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen und würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten. Perfekt um mal richtig abzuschalten. Vielen Dank Luz Maria und Bryan

Alexander showed me the place and than showed me the neighborhood. A short round which becomes to an invitation to coffee in his house, then soup, then meal, then home made liqueur... in sum it was amazing and Alexander place which he and his brother built themselves is great. the view from the balcony is fantastic, too. I recommend and will come back again.
