Holiday rentals with a kayak in Nordstrand

The communication with the host is very smooth and prompt. The scenery around the accommodation is good, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus, so transportation is good, and the grocery store is close, so I highly recommend it.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here. From the attentiveness of the hosts, and the condition of their beautiful home and everything in between it was an absolute stress free stay. I can’t thank ours hosts Erik and Anita enough for opening their beautiful home to my family and me. Would stay here again without question. Five stars all around from top to bottom!

Oddbjørn’s house is incredible. With a beautiful location right on the water and tons of space in the house it feels like a vacation the moment you step inside or out onto the deck. There are so many amenities, the kitchen is huge, the sauna is a fantastic addition. This space is perfect for large groups or a family looking to get away for the weekend. With kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat you can explore a serene lake and really enjoy the surroundings. Enjoy a great week in Norway at this spectacular house!!

A beautiful family home in an idyllic location. Private beach with jetty for swimming/fishing and boat & kayak available for guests to use. Lots of outdoor space to eat and enjoy the views. The inside of the house is immaculate. Very quiet, private setting but within easy reach or Oslo. Thanks so much to Einar and family who were so welcoming and helpful.

This was our first vacation using Airbnb and we are impressed with the possibilities that were offered. The booked vacation home already impressed with its seclusion and natural location in the listing. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility of reaching the hut on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather conditions. With the rowboat, which is available, the arrival and luggage transport is no problem. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming log cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the peaks of southern Norway's highest mountains. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the vacation. 👌🏻

We had an incredible few days at Joakims cabin. The place was immaculate, more beautiful than the pictures on the advert and so peaceful and serene. There was a lot already in the cabin for cooking with and loads of games and fire wood which meant once you were there you didn’t need to leave to get anything. They also provided kayaks which was a really nice touch as the lake is beautiful and there’s loads of great trails you can kayak over to and hike. Will definitely try to come back again!

Very nice stay. Helge was easily accessible and responded quickly. We sat by the fire and the house was equipped with all the comforts.

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

The house was incredible! It was the Christmas time so we even had Christmas tree in the house and decorations. The house had everything we needed. Very clean and decorated very well. It was so cozy and we loved staying there. Madeleine was easy to communicate and even helped us when we couldn’t find the house. :) We would definitely consider coming back here. We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful cottage. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment – from the magical view of the water to the atmospheric evenings in front of the fire on the terrace. The cottage is well equipped with everything one might need, and it was easy to both relax and feel at home. It is quiet, private and peaceful, with direct access to the lake from the house and proximity to both nature reserves and the lake in front of the cabin and mountains on the other side of the lake (great views). Just 30 minutes to Oslo makes it easy to get there. Arild and Nina are incredibly helpful and responds quickly to everything – many thanks for a memorable experience! /Imran &Eva
