The cabin has two bedrooms, both with double beds (160 and 150 cm width) and dresser. There are also 2 extra mattresses (75x200 cm). Living room with fireplace and kitchenette, bathroom with shower cabin, and a spacious hallway. The kitchenette has a dining table, oven, hob with two plates, and a refrigerator under the bench. There are great hiking possibilities in summer and winter. From the cabin there are nice views and good sun conditions. The area offers great cross-country trails where you don't have to wait in line in winter. In summer you will find great hiking trails right outside the cabin, and fishing opportunities nearby. Family park Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer are also located in Øyer

The cabin "Utsikten" was newly renovated in 2019 and new bathroom no. 2 in the summer of 2024. New barbecue hut 2025. The place is for us essentially a place to retreat and find real peace and quiet without meeting any people nearby. "Utsikten" is located at the top and is the closest neighbor to a fantastic nature experience - Synnfjell with Spåtind as the highest peak at 1414 m.a.s.l. It is rented out at times and the place's possibilities must only be experienced with very good hiking possibilities in both summer and winter
