The area offers great cross country trails where you don't have to stand in line in the winter. Here, free-range sheep roam from May to September, and with a little luck you can also see moose. From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.
