Synnfjellporten is a few kilometers away and has serving food and drinks on weekends and holidays. The cabin is peaceful and quiet and just has a couple of neighbors. You can hear the rush of the river Synna running just past.

The cabin is well equipped with two fridges, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and shoe dryer. Great hiking trails for skiing and hiking. Ski slopes 50 meters from the cabin, snowproof from November to April.

On the property there is a trampoline, Zipline, marked badminton court, and UFO swing. In the immediate area there is a football and sand volleyball court, swimming areas in Etnaelva and Randsfjorden, and in the winter a local ski resort.

Cabin with a fantastic view. The breathtaking landscape can be enjoyed all year round, with plenty of opportunity to experience the beauties of nature and wildlife. Here, free-range sheep roam from May to September, and with a little luck you can also see moose. From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.

My family- and eco-friendly cabin is located in a popular hiking and cross country skiing area called Synnfjell. It is on a sunny space in the forest (900m height). The cabin has å large, sunny veranda with a nice panorama., icluding “Spåtind” (the highest top in the region, 1414 m height). You can use the wood fired sauna which is placed in a separate small cabin in traditional style.
