There is no shower in the cabin but there is a nice outdoor sink outside as well as an outdoor toilet. Electricity and cooking facilities as well as a small fridge. Walking distance to bus with frequent departures Oslo, Drøbak, Ski and Tusenfryd. Walking distance to grocery store Extra which is open on Sunday. Lovely beach Breivoll nearby. It is not possible to drive to the cabin. Free parking downstairs also about 150 meters up the stairs 😊

In winter there is a trail for cross country skiing and ice skating rink. There is also tennis, football, basketball court and playground for the smallest just across the road. Closest beach, Hvervenbukta with nice sea view is 4.5 km away. It takes about 10 minutes by car to the city center and the nearest bus stop 300 meters away. Welcome!

Small social house by lake, only 30 min. from Oslo

This small social house is situated on the brink of Østmarka national park. You probably will not meet the shy wolf and lynx, but you might see deer og moose. I live here, but sleep in my workshop next door when I have guests. When you are visiting, we share the kitchen and the bathroom, and the big garden. The house is furnished with norwegian design, second hand and hand made book shelves. Book a forest bathing walk if you want 2-3 hours of relaxation. I am a certified forest bathing guide.

Car approx. 20 min. Drøbak center about 13 km away. Breivoll beach is about 7 minutes by car, lovely beaches or stroll along the coastal path.
