Judith was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her place is the ideal location for a trip to Amsterdam - only a v short bus and metro ride to get into the centre of the city. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The area is gorgeous and it was lovely to get the opportunity to experience a more rural area outside the busy city. 100% recommend!

This is my first time in Europe and Netherlands, Wilhelmina made us feel right at home. She is very friendly and makes breakfast for us everyday, even made space for us to park bicycles we rented for a day. Her recommendation to visit Edam was excellent, the Dutch cycling/walking network is fantastic.

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

slight hiccup over entry but sorted and nothing too much trouble what a lovely house in a perfect position -by far the best in the town. could not recommend more

A great stay and perfect breakfast! A nice bed and good shower in a particularly atmospheric farmhouse in a quiet natural green environment. Iris is doing great, communicates nicely and I would love to come back.

Dear Linda, We enjoyed a thoroughly delightful stay at your b&b. The scenery was picturesque: an old Dutch farmhouse with a thatched roof set in a beautiful Dutch countryside. I got up for an early morning run and taking in the surrounding area was just a perfect way to start my day. Running among the canals and bridges and breathing the fresh morning air made me forget that I was running. Then I came back to a most satisfying breakfast: scrambled eggs, jam on toast, and wonderful coffee. Thank you so much for giving us an experience that we will never forget. We loved our stay at Bianca’s place! The surrounding area is peaceful and rural, and not far from the beach/sea. There is a bus to the train station in Hoorn, though it doesn’t run late. We didn’t have a car but got along fine by bus/walking. Great place for a family stay. The alpacas and other animals were so cute! We were all quite taken with them, and we all had our favorites. Breakfast was really good - fresh farm breakfast with homemade yogurt and jams, and eggs from the farm. Bianca is super friendly and helpful! We would recommend Bianca’s place to anyone!

Rosetta was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our experience comfortable. She went above and beyond to help us get my elderly mother’s luggage in as we were unable to get luggage storage we had planned. Our breakfast was amazing. She made me special and delicious low carb options as I had dietary needs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, everything was so nice. I would stay here again in a second.

I was there for one night and it was a great stay. Simply perfect from start to finish. I would stay there again at any time. The two are wonderful hosts. There is an "extra thank you" for the magnificent breakfast.

Tim, the rightly proud owner, is an excellent, attentive and extremely friendly host. Accurate and fast communication prior to the visit. The stay in a stately mansion immerses you in the luxury of 100 years ago, authenticity is perfectly maintained! Once assigned the very spacious, atmospheric room, we were treated to a homemade cake with coffee or tea: what a warm personal welcome! Highly recommended, across the board! Earns even more than 5*

Had an amazing experience at Babette’s. I wish I would have stayed longer than 2 nights. I stayed 2 nights in Amsterdam prior to coming to Babettes’s and I so wish I stayed here the whole time and took the 20ish minute trip to Amsterdam instead! The property and room are exceptionally beautiful and well kept. The neighborhood is also beautiful and quiet. With restaurants and shops a short walk away. Babette was a great host. Very friendly and accommodating. helped me look for options to get back to the airport. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Great accommodation, very nice for children, well-equipped kitchen, on request you get new bed linen and towels. Very, very nice hosts and always there when you need something. The pizza evening twice a week is highly recommended. I would recommend it again and again if you just want to come down 😊

The accommodation is very nicely decorated and very cozy. A little smaller than it looked in the pictures, but Maya is a great host!

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀
