central to all of the chateaux within 80 km radius. We visited 8 and were not disappointed. Amboise had a great selection of quality restaurants at reasonable prices, for us Chez Bruno stood out the best. Our hosts prepared the pool for a daily swim which was so nice as our nearest pool at home is 10km away and difficult to get to. The property gave us the chance to forget TV for 2 weeks to allow some good social time and good reading. Finally Michele and Roland our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Wish we were closer as they would be great as friends and neighbours.

We only stayed one night but it was a great stop. We could freshen up in the swimming-pool and use the kitchen to cook diner. Beds were top 👍

We spent a few days at the property. Very nice accommodation, very quiet , on the banks of the Loire where we were able to go for a walk. The advantage of the accommodation is that it is well located around several castles that we were able to visit. The space was spotless, the two beds are fine. A large well equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed having breakfast. I recommend

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived with Stephanie greeting us and showing us around. The place is so charming and set in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful area in the French countryside. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, and the living room and bedroom were cozy. Stephanie generously provided provisions for our first breakfast and brought us lily of the valley on May Day - a long standing French tradition for good luck. Her location was perfect for visiting all the châteaux in the area and we even caught a glimpse of the hot air balloons one evening. Stephanie was both respectful of our privacy, but also generous with her time and so responsive any time we needed assistance. The nearby village is about 10 minutes away by car and has a great small market. Another town, about 15 minutes away by car had some great restaurants.

It was one of our best Airbnb! The place was spotless, Thomas thought of everything in every detail (even for our baby). Thomas was very responsive and welcomed us as he should be. We are very happy to have been able to stay in this beautiful place.

We had a great time in this comfortable, well-equipped and artistically decorated. Initially chosen because it is on one level and accessible to people with reduced mobility, it is in our opinion the ideal second home for 4 people. The weather was not favorable, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace which has a beautiful view of the river and surrounding landscape. Very eager to come back in the spring or summer.

Lovely house. A lot of attention to guest needs. The location was great and Astrid was very friendly.

Beautifully decorated, pleasant house. 3 spacious bedrooms each equipped with shower and toilet which is a plus. pleasant terrace at the back of the house. very well equipped kitchen nothing is missing. Host responsive to messages. only downside parking on the narrow street but we were with 3 cars. A little more the flare up in the fireplace that embellished one of our evenings. we highly recommend for its location for visits around. thank you Beatrice for the service.

Excellent stay. The accommodation is large, well-equipped. Great foosball is also a plus. In addition, there is a large grass and completely enclosed garden that allowed a 6 year old boy to run, herbal and hunt the butterfly (bring his net). There is space to park two or three cars. The center of Amboise is half an hour walk and a dozen minutes drive. The accommodation is very well located for visiting the area. We met Didier who was very concerned about our comfort.

Our stay at Melin’s place was extremely pleasant. The apartment is beautifully decorated, large and spacious and with the added bonus of off-street parking, which was perfect. The outside space is perfect for a chilled glass of wine in the evening. The place is situated conveniently minutes away from an excellent food hall selling fresh produce and the many excellent restaurants and bars offer a great choice. Because of the levels of comfort, convenience and enjoyment from the many local attractions (chateau, riverside walks and stunning countryside) we will definitely put this property on our re-visit list. Very beautiful accommodation, as described and very well equipped. Isabelle was very available to welcome us with great kindness in her living space. The bakery at the foot of the building is a real plus, as well as free parking nearby. A 160cm bed will bring a little more comfort. Thanks again, we'll be happy to come back.
