Fully renovated cottage in former stables

Located 2 km from the village of Montlouis-sur-Loire, on the Loire bike path, the "Joly gîte" was completely restored in 2021. It will be the perfect base from which to discover Touraine, the Loire, its castles, and its vineyards. You will be 20 minutes from the historic center of Tours, 10 minutes from Amboise and 45 minutes from Beauval Zoo. The 125 m2 cottage sleeps 8. Welcome to Refuge d'Azay, a warm house located in a peaceful hamlet of Azay-sur-Cher. Designed to combine comfort and authenticity, it has a friendly living room with wood-burning stove and television, a renovated and well-equipped kitchen, as well as two comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Outside, you will enjoy a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue as well as a private and fully fenced yard, with a parking space for two vehicles.

Come and recharge your batteries in our cottage in a green setting close to our troglodyte house. We renovated our outbuilding in 2023, to accommodate visitors wishing to discover our region with a rich heritage. Located a few minutes from Amboise, in the heart of the Loire Valley, its many castles and world-renowned vineyards. You can explore our region by car, on foot or by bike. Our cottage is on the "Loire à vélo" route.

The Secretariat

The house is inside our property but totally independent with access to the garden. It has a large south-facing terrace out of sight equipped with garden furniture. From 05/15 to 09/30, if weather conditions permit, you can enjoy the heated and secure pool. We provide linens: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. We can provide you with baby accessories:
