The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Steigerwald Erfurt (known as 'Steiger' for short) is located opposite and offers an endless expanse of nature, along with associated hiking trails, across an area of around 1,000 hectares. From here, you can walk to the city centre, all of Erfurt's landmarks, cultural attractions, restaurants, shops and grocery stores. If you come by car, you will find free parking along Parkstraße. The tram (Steigerstraße or Milchinselstraße stop) can be reached on foot in about 8 minutes.
