Monthly Rentals in Nisída Makronísi

We stayed at the beautiful Finiki for 15 days. The house is beautiful with a balcony overlooking the sea, equipped with every comfort including air conditioning and wifi (which works very well on the terrace). For everything else, Vasileia was a wonderful host and always available. We highly recommend visiting you and eating in the restaurant downstairs, managed by you, with the best fish we found on the island! The house is clean and in a great location to enjoy Karpathos!

In a small village typical of the island of Kasos, there is a charming little house where it is good to live. Its quiet location, its traditional and well-decorated interior as well as the garden, where one dreams admiring the mountains and sea in the distance, provide a sense of tranquility and well-being. Elodie was very kind and very attentive. In short, a place that we can only unreservedly recommend.

Great place to stay! A wonderful view of the town and the mountains from the balcony! Amazing sunsets! I was there in off season, so it was quiet (minus the bar next door open late on the weekend) and many restaurants not open. However, the ones that were I found excellent! A gorgeous place as a home base to explore the island!! The ferry terminal is literally outside your door! Very handy! Highly recommend!

Maria's house was perfect for a 10 day stay, as we could drive throughout the island from that location. My Greek friend travelled from Chios to meet up with me, as she had always dreamed of visiting Olympos, a traditional village 39km further north up many winding, mountainous roads, but well worth a visit. We also had breakfast with the 90 year old neighbour who lives a short walk up the rough road and enjoyed quiet beaches around the island swimming in crystal clear, calm seas. The local mini market in Othos, a village down from Stes, was very useful, as we mainly cooked our own meals in the well equipped kitchen, (γίγαντες στο φούρνο, τραχανά, τουρουλουού, και πολλές σαλάτες κτλ) though we did enjoy fish soup, and the best ντολμαδάκια (domadakia) ever at Kyma in Pigadia, and delicious κατσίκι (goat) with super tasty onion and tomato stuffed aubergines in Olympos village. I also managed to paint three oil paintings on location, in the perfect 24-26 degree October sunshine.
